[For a video being shot in the middle of a zombie invasion, the redhead onscreen sure looks cheerful. Is it because she's in Delight's bar, or because she's having fun fighting the undead horde?

Both. And then some.]

I'm Faith, I just got here a few days ago. Lucky me, right? Well, no, I really am, 'cause a friend of mine from home's been here for months now.

[She shifts her phone so Kate appears on the screen, casually fighting a few zombies.

When Faith turns the camera back on herself, she is mid giggle.]

Anyway! We've picked up another roomie and moved into a house, and I think that calls for a party.

So! Delight's been good enough to lend the bar for it! [Hence why she and Kate are currently defending it from the undead.

Well, okay, no. They just wound up here, but Faith's pretty sure Delight appreciates people protecting her contribution to the city's entertainment.]

Now's not a good time, I know, but once these little bastards are gone, we should all get together and celebrate! 'Cause we survived, and 'cause I really do still want a housewarming.

So how 'bout... a week from today? If the zombies are still 'round then, I'll reschedule. [Because that's... how living here works...?] Oh, and if you can sing, d'you want to? Delight says some of you are good at that!

[She glances offscreen -- at Kate, probably -- then back at the camera, shrugging.] Time to get back to work. Let me know, yeh? I'll answer you soon as I can. Bye!

[She blows a kiss and gives a little wave before the feed cuts out.]

If Delight and a bar are involved--

[Lilith, perched somewhere high up in her housing spire, leans off-camera and fires off a volley of shots; she reloads on camera, continuing to speak.]

I am down. Welcome to the cave, Faith.

[Bianca, who appears to be herding zombies with a blazing torch and a machete, smiles into the camera as though she and Faith are meeting on a red carpet to a background of paparazzi clicks.]

You didn't tell me you and Kate were friends, you naughty girl. Just try and keep me away.

Delight did what?

[Nick's behind the bar, restocking and organizing, though if those zombies get in, all her work will be for nothing.]

Why am I always the last to fuckin' know this kinda shit? Jesus.

Welcome to town! Even if it's a bit overrun at the moment. I've not been here long, but if this is like other things that happen here, the zombies should clear up in a few days. By the time it's all over, a party will be most welcome.

I don't sing well, but that doesn't usually stop me from trying. (¬‿¬)

Oh, you don't have to bartend it if you don't want! [She says this glancing over her shoulder, and as soon as she's done, she kicks a zombie right in the chest, then delivers a strong blow to its head. The spray of guts is... well. Gross. But it's dead!] Delight's so excited I think she might bartend herself just for the fun of it!

[Ah yes Bianca gets how fun this is! Or so it would seem!

Faith now has her quarterstaff in hand. It's got zombie guts on it. Whoops.]

Didn't know you knew her! I want to meet all of Kate's friends here, so if anything, you can't keep me away!

[Once done with her announcement and invite, Faith pockets her phone and turns to Kate.]

[She's approaching anyway, hand extended for her quarterstaff.]

( it's probably unsurprising that Kate's wearing her sunglasses while killing zombies - even if they have no powers, she's so used to fighting with them on that it's instinctive (as long as she doesn't look directly at Faith while wearing them, it's fine) - but the shirt she's turned into a cloth that's wound around her head? that's new. it probably looks a little ridiculous, but it does mean that, once she's stepped away from the pile of corpses, flexing her arms because damn does a quarterstaff take it out of you when it's not your thing, she can pull them off and be clean as a whistle on her face.

(it's practical, for so many reasons, one of which is the protection from infection, the other? the other is something that Faith knows about all too well.) )

Too late, Delight agreed and is really excited! Do you really want to make her sad?

[Also, don't make Faith pout at you.]

She's no deity of mine, so I care not how she feels. She's just as bad as the rest of them.

She just want you to have fun and make friends and laugh, you know.

And so do I! And you can't say you've moved in somewhere without a housewarming party.

[Frankly, he should be glad Faith decided it'd be better to have the party anywhere but the house.]

It wasn't my idea to move.

You know, don't think it'd be necessary to reschedule... or even delay. It's pretty clear that Fear is the one doing this, probably because he got chaffed from not getting enough power last month.

[These gods seem like the type that would throw tantrums like this when things don't go their way.]

Either way, am just saying. Best way to combat this is to just not be afraid. So party hard.

[Elmer is doing the same thing, fixing up his fortifications as best he can.]

That's the spirit! I just wish I had some entertainment if I had known I was going to be locked up for who knows how long. I regret not saving the batteries for my Gameboy for a special occasion, now. Sitting around here is getting quite dull, in between the times zombies are trying to rip their way into my house.

You say that as though some of that party won't end up back here, or that said party won't attract the undead. It's a terrible idea, Kate.

Yes, because once they're cleared from the streets, they will be gone permanently, just like every other creature brought here by the false gods. Surely they won't wander in from the caves.
