Hello, fellow residents of Hadriel. I'm Sato.

I'd hoped I'd have something more important to say the first time I posted anything publicly, but it turns out I just have a question for all of you.

You see, where I'm from, there's no such thing as magic. But I know that many of you are from places where it really does exist in one form or another. So to those of you out there, I'd really like to hear from you about how it works, who can learn it, and anything else you wouldn't mind sharing.

After all, with dragons flying around, this seems like as good a time as any to talk about the fantastical.

In my world monsters are made of magic so they use it a lot. Humans used to have magic too I think because the history books the monsters have said they did but I don't think it was every human?

I don't think you can learn monster magic.

Hello Frisk. Can you tell me about what kind of magic the monsters use? Is it the sort of thing like fairytale wizards with fireballs and curses? Do they have protection spells, or ways to get rid of magic, too?

Yeah, all of that! Some monsters have fireballs and some have bullets and it's really cool. I don't think they have curses but they can do things to you sometimes that make you really heavy or make you feel better if you're hurt.

I don't think you can get rid of their magic, sorry. You just have to ask nicely.

I'm not sure. There were seven human mages a long time ago, but I don't know if there were more. They were really strong though.

Alchemy used to be popular where I'm from! I've dabbled in it myself. Never really did anything magical with it myself, but I've seen some things. Are you looking to learn it from someone here? That could be fun!

The mages lived a really long time ago, I think. I never heard of them until I met monsters.

Because humans are made of stuff and monsters are made of magic. I tried to make a fireball once, but Toriel just said I looked like I was ill.
