[Sato's clearly recording from somewhere high up, but exactly where isn't clear; the background is nothing but cavern ceiling.]
Hello, fellow residents of Hadriel. I'm Sato.
I'd hoped I'd have something more important to say the first time I posted anything publicly, but it turns out I just have a question for all of you.
You see, where I'm from, there's no such thing as magic. But I know that many of you are from places where it really does exist in one form or another. So to those of you out there, I'd really like to hear from you about how it works, who can learn it, and anything else you wouldn't mind sharing.
After all, with dragons flying around, this seems like as good a time as any to talk about the fantastical.

In my world monsters are made of magic so they use it a lot. Humans used to have magic too I think because the history books the monsters have said they did but I don't think it was every human?
I don't think you can learn monster magic.
[persistently video because he loves it]

Hey, Sato! I am Rashid of the Turbulent Wind!
Sorry if I seem kind of in a rush, but I've been getting all sorts of dragon pictures while dodging them.
Magic doesn't exist in my world, at least I don't think so.
[People just control wind and throw fireballs. For reasons.]

Nice to meet you, Rashid. I don't think you'd have any trouble getting a good picture or two of them from up on one of the spires.
[Which... may be exactly where he is right now.]

Don't say you're interested in becoming a budding student of the magical arts.

Care to elaborate on your world's magic while we're having this conversation? What I saw of it was quite interesting, I thought.
[Considering their first encounter, it's almost shocking how completely innocent and sincere he sounds now. But nooo it's exactly the same smiling face.]

[Why didn't he think of that first?!]

[He was thinking more of old fashioned wizards throwing around fireballs and cool magic. Then again, who knows what could be useful.]
That wasn't really what I had in mind, but... what sort of things have you seen?

[ It's not like Allison knew about werewolves until she started dating one. Up until that point she thought her world was totally normal. ]

Now, perhaps you're right. But, I've never seen anyone throwing fireballs around, so it's safe to say I'm still open to learning about the possibilities.

Heya. I'm hearin' you got some questions?

If you have answers, I'd enjoy hearing them. I suppose the only way to hold a skeleton like yourself together would be magic, wouldn't it?

I mean, I guess it'd be cool if magic was real; it'd almost make the monsters worth it.
[And the fact that it's unlikely there are just wendigos in his world, but probably other kinds of monsters too.]

I'm no mage, and in my world, it's only the mages who can use such power. There's white magic for healing and black for destruction... some mages are even capable of summoning powerful beasts.
But many of us fighters still have some sort of power, even though it's not properly magic.
Ah well that I can appreciate. I guess you could say I'm more interested in the things those mages of yours get up to. Mind you, I suppose even without traditional magic, you fighters have ways to deal with mages? It seems like it could be challenging.

It exists where I'm from... but what we call magic is more a manipulation of will and energy. It takes a lot of skill and training.

Here everyone is, speaking casually about that sort of thing. Maybe it makes sense in a place with gods and dragons, like this guy said. But, it's not easy to just let that go. ]
Looks like a lot of interesting places are represented here.
Exactly! We may all be trapped in an uncertain situation, but if nothing else, being here sure broadens our horizons. I've already heard more than a little about magic and monsters from other worlds... but I'm always open to one more?
[That didn't need to be a question, but he's working on seeming warm and inviting. Try to get whoever it is to open up.]
