Hello, fellow residents of Hadriel. I'm Sato.
I'd hoped I'd have something more important to say the first time I posted anything publicly, but it turns out I just have a question for all of you.
You see, where I'm from, there's no such thing as magic. But I know that many of you are from places where it really does exist in one form or another. So to those of you out there, I'd really like to hear from you about how it works, who can learn it, and anything else you wouldn't mind sharing.
After all, with dragons flying around, this seems like as good a time as any to talk about the fantastical.

He's an immortal. How about that! I had no idea. We'd never met before Hadriel. Perhaps he's from another world, but I suppose there are other immortals in my work that I've never met.
There was another immortal here with me briefly, when I first arrived, by the name of Victor Talbot. But he up and disappeared in a hurry. Apparently that happens to folks around here sometimes.

But that's not more a tangent, and frankly, he was more interested in addressing a pretty specific problem today...]
Before we get too far off-topic, I have to ask. Are there alchemical potions that do other things? After all, I've already got the immortality part taken care of.
[He chuckles, smiling. More than taken care of. To the best of his knowledge, this immortality potion seems a bit weak in comparison to his own abilities.]

There are! Transmutations are the most common. Turning one element into another. Mostly they're difficult to do, or don't work quite right. Otherwise, every Tom, Dick and Harry would be turning everything they could get their hands on into gold! And where would we be then?

[he chuckles. It's useful information, but it still doesn't seem to be quite what he was looking for. Maybe not a dead end, but something to get into again later if the whole idea of magic lessons doesn't pan out.]
Ah, before I forget. On a completely unrelated note, I hope you don't mind, but I borrowed your Game Boy. I think you'll find it's charged now, though. I left it back on the shelf.

Wait, you had it? I thought it got lost in the zombie mishap. [He goes to the shelf where he had left it before the zombie invasion, and lo and behold, there it is. He flip it open and turns it open, his face beaming when the screen lights up.]
