You may have noticed some abnormal behavior regarding the Door. Normally it doesn't bring in anything so large, and we did not expect it to do so this time. Delight and I have been attempting to alter the Door to send you home, as you have so often requested, but as I have said again and again, we have very little knowledge in this area. We will try again.

My appreciation for those who slew the dragons. We did not intend on their arrival, and I would be willing to grant you a favor in return for your efforts - if it's within my power, and not too foolish.

I'm not one to leave people in danger. On that note: I trust that you didn't intend to put them all there to begin with, but I still hope you're not going to try that again any time soon. People might not be here by choice, but the least you can do is keep them safe.

Keep trying. Try harder. All of these people frustrated at you should be good incentive.

This is not new. You are all always angry about something. It pleases Rage very much.

You feed off of your associated emotions, right? Does this put you all constantly at odds? Hope is not a very prevalent feeling here. You can always tell when a place is missing it most.

Not necessarily. Often emotions work in concert - for example, delight and hope can be found together. There are many ways we can work together.

But you must not get along with someone like Rage, correct? The two emotions might produce the same results in the end, but the paths to get there are entirely different. I know that I'm new, but right now it doesn't seem like hope is the best path for keeping people safe and getting them home.

We do not personify the emotions that power us. Rage and I get along well enough, though we disagree about methods at times. I am not sure what the rest of your point is - you think hope is useless? There are others here who feel the same.
