[video - because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.] fd to 10/16.
[Hey, look! Your resident wicked witch isn't looking like he's out for blood today! Yay! Actually, he's almost…suspiciously pleased, and given the fact that the beanie he's wearing is kind of horrible and dorky, it probably has nothing to do with that… Right?]
Now this is more like it. Random useful items! I'd love to negotiate for some books, if anyone’s come across any real ones. In the meantime...
[He gently rattles the jar of bees, just enough to show it off -- poor things didn't need to be bothered any more than they already were, having been stuffed in their glass prison.]
I'd suggest that anyone hanging around Hope’s temple leaves in the next, oh… Ten minutes? That should be enough. Especially if you're allergic to bees. I'm leaving an offering for our dear, beloved god.
[BEEEEEEEEES!!]

[BEEEEEEEEES!!]

I did ask if it was okay should I come now.
[ Not the flying stuff. Why would he mention that? ]

closes it
wild gesturing with hand not holding bees]
Why are you like this? I meant the -- the appearing out of nowhere! It scares people! If I were my sister, you'd be a hat right now!
no subject
[ He's just so calm, and yet frowning sincerely. He'd be a hat? Really? That sounds awfully inconvenient. ]
no subject
[So don't talk shit about witches, his glare says.]
no subject
[ He smiled. ] Besides, I can't imagine you ever needed to before.
no subject
I told you already, I'm a healer.
[how is he supposed to talk to bees!!! Anyway, let him steady his bee jar between both hands and show Castiel.]
Bees, weird guy. Weird guy, bees. Go on, tell him everything's under control!

[ But since he's been invited, he comes closer, and he bends in close to the glass. His lips move, but he doesn't make a sound, except perhaps if he listens very, very closely, there might be a faint buzz buzz buzz. ]
They're not very happy. They say they don't like it when you shake the glass. Or zap it. Um...tap it.
no subject
[Warrick squints at the jar, carefully lifting it closer to his own face.]
...I've been trying not to, you know. And I'll let you out soon! When we're back to the library. Then you can hive among the books, or whatever it is you do.
There was a woman that said they won't make honey. Is that true?
no subject
I think so. I'm not sure they would form into a hive, either. Some bees are more parasitic than social. They feed off the accumulated wealth of honey bees, or lay their eggs on other insects so that their young can cannibalize them.
[ Nature, right? ]
But whether or not they make honey, they are still wonderful creatures. [ He makes some more buzzing noises. ] They're excited to see the library. They think it sounds much better than the jar.

[Come on, bees, don't be jerks... Just be chill. Chill bees for your unchill -- for now -- master.]
Just don't get your hopes up too much. It's still the worst excuse for a library I've seen in a really long time, but it's definitely big...ger. I'm talking to bees. What's wrong with me?
[He shakes his head, though he does his best to make sure the movement doesn't jostle the jar much. With a heavy sigh, Warrick lifts up off the ground, the shoulders and hem of his witch's cloak flowing and fraying as it worked to keep him airborne.]
Do you travel in a non-instantaneous way, or are you going to try to give me another heart attack later? [ha ha h a he's funny, this dude without a heartbeat or worry about a kind of heart problem because he very distinctly has no heart.]
no subject
[ Those potentially dangerous bees in a jar. They're both full of such smart, wonderful ideas. Still, this guy is now hovering and it's...very witchy. And very impressive, actually. Castiel's wings don't work like that. He wished that they did. ]
Nothing likes to be confined to small spaces, after all. [ He angles his face to look up toward the cave ceiling. ]
no subject
Go, then. I'll meet you there in a few minutes.
[And he will! Still cradling the bees like something precious. It's also worth noting that he's taken a good chunk of books off the shelves and uses them to build structures periodically to keep himself amused. The latest endeavor seems to be a giant version of Jenga.]

When he gets inside, the jar is placed reverently on the table he had claimed as his own, and he looks up at Castiel with expectation.]
I see you're being weird again. Well, stop that and come here, I'm about to free them. You can give some sort of welcoming speech, or something, I don't really care.
[free the bees, the bees are free]
no subject
I didn't realize I was being weird.
no subject
[Warrick sighs and -- to his own shame -- mumbles a brief apology for the jerking of the jar this will cause, then starts unscrewing the lid.
It's...a lot harder than it looks. But then, if you were going to jar bees to use as a weapon, having a tight seal is probably the wise thing to do.]
Oh, come on, I'm trying to -- [HUFF, why did he have to be a stringbean when he cast his curse.] Well now I want to throw it for entirely different reasons!
no subject
So Castiel just watched for a moment, because... Well, that should be the easy part. But when the jar isn't opened, he squints slightly and steps a little closer. ]
Would you like me to open it for you?

Immediately, the sound of frantic buzzing is let free, followed by bees taking flight as he pulls the lid away. And they are...a little bit angry. Angry freedom bees. Buzz buzz buzz. ]
no subject
There. Now the only thing you should have to worry about on a day to day basis is me getting angry at the books and possibly throwing them, but it's very unlikely I would hit any of you with that anyway.
no subject
Would you mind if I brought them some flowers, in pots? Now, or... [ He hummed, softly. ] --at some point in the future. I'd like to care for them, with you.
Would that be okay?
no subject
As long as you keep in mind that they're my bees, sure.
