the audio feed begins with nothing but the sounds of heavy breathing and the crash of battle. someone running. you'd be forgiven for thinking that this happened entirely accidentally mid-fight, because no one seems to say anything for a good minute.
Kate's voice eventually makes itself known with a grunt and the thud of her back hitting a wall. )
Assistance needed. Colosseum. ( her voice is heavy with exhaustion, of having run and dodged and tried everything she can alone to attempt to stop- )

- Don't bother coming if you don't have powers.
( it's harsh, and short, but there's no time. not when this thing - this demon that was once her friend and co-worker - isn't about to be stopped with a few weapons. she's doing all she can to outrun him, never mind trying to attack. )
