[ The video starts out shaking, the view beginning with a brief shot of Sharon's stained boots (brilliant red spatters) and the dirt floor beneath, but it's soon shifted up. The focus settles on a fire engine red box, nearly a foot in length, that rests against the wall of one of the buildings. The lid has a strange symbol painted on it, a triple moon, and after she's certain people have gotten a good look, she kicks open the box, lid flopping back. The workmanship on the box is shoddy at best, but that's not what you're supposed to be noticing.

No, what you're supposed to be noticing is that the rectangular box is filled with a variety of items. There appears to be cloth, canned goods, a blade, and a canteen stuffed within, among other things. ]

There are a handful of these caches throughout the city. You spot the symbol [ She kicks the box again, and it rattles as the lid falls shut, the symbol back into frame. ] You'll find a box nearby. In it should be enough goodies to help you survive if you're ever caught off guard when the shit hits the fan here. There's also a healing trinket in each one, thanks to Kate and Carlisle, along with instructions on how to use it.

[ She pulls back, lifting the camera up to show another of the triple moon symbols on the wall in red paint. It's not large, but the bright red is enough to catch an eye or two. She doesn't turn the camera to her face as she continues to speak, leaving everyone to enjoy paint drying. ]

You use something from it, you put it back when you can. I won't be doing rounds to check on these things often, so if you fuck someone over by being a dick, that's on you. [ This is obviously the perfect place to end the post. No goodbye. No sign off. Yeah. She's good at this. ]

[ ACTION ]

[ And, for those who wish to encounter Sharon in person, she can be found throughout the city, painting the symbol on various walls, about eye level for those of an average height. She may also be found stocking any one of the red boxes. So, come over, have a chat, or criticize her on her shoddy workmanship. ]

I didn't know you could work on cars. [ A simple statement. Another fact about Adam, the nature boy, who's friends with Ronan, the dreamer, and Noah, the ghost. People have so many layers to them. ]

If I decide to make more, would you mind giving me a hand? Maybe together we'd make something a little more sturdy.

I was a mechanic back home.

[In addition to two other jobs. There's a reason he volunteers to help with so many projects in Hadriel - he really doesn't know what to do with free time.]

Yeah, I'd gladly help. We should be able to find some way to reinforce them so there's less chance of anything getting broken.

[ A mechanic? That's a job that gives one useful skills down the road—like the ability to reinforce wibbly-wobbly box sets that could have been made better by a five-year-old but let's watch them try and find all those hinges (they sure as hell didn't come out from the shops around town). ]

Fuck, that's probably something they'll need sooner rather than later, I think? I'm kind of showing off the best one. [ Some of the other ones, though useable and still obviously a box, are far more lopsided, edges not perfect. ]

That one's really not too bad. You did a good job.

[Adam might be being a little charitable, but he's not lying. Especially if this is something she doesn't normally do - it's clear she put in effort, which counts for something. Also, it's hard to really screw up boxes.]

I'll see if I can find something to help, though. Maybe some extra wood to shore up the sides.

Liar. [ She jokes at him lightly, and then dips her head at his suggestion. ]

Yeah, I think that'd be a good plan. More wood, more sturdy.

Sometimes, but not this time.

[He smiles, just a little.]

If you keep doing things like this you might start getting a good reputation.

I guess I'm going to have to murder a few people to offset this, then, huh? [ It's a clear joke, but... Maybe she wants to clear something up. ] I'm not doing this to try and clean up my reputation. I don't really have any interest in that, I don't care what people here think of me or what I've done.

[ Which isn't entirely true. She does care about a few people's opinions, Adam's included, but their opinions don't really change what she did do and what she is willing to do again. ]

I know you don't. But for what it's worth - which isn't much - I never thought badly of you.

[He doesn't exactly mean to be self-deprecating there. It's more that he knows his idea of morality is very focused on the people who mean a lot to him, with less to spare for the other inhabitants of the city. If Sharon's actions had hurt Ronan or Noah, he might feel differently, but they didn't, and he likes her. In the end, it's as simple as that.]

You're one of the few, then. [ but there's a hint of gratitude within those words. ]

[That's about as mushy and emotionally open as he can handle being for one day.]

I'll see what I can do about those boxes, all right?

Mm. [ A nod and a hum. ] Thanks, Adam.
