s i x . ( TEXT ) . don't try to fix what's not broken
The clinic will be running another round of first aid classes in the afternoons for the foreseeable future. Topics covered are as followed:
Basic first aid: cuts and scrapes, hygiene
Broken bones: diagnosis and stabilization
CPR
Burns
Illness I: common cold, respiratory infections, flu
Illness II: food poisoning, botulism, etc
Shock
Stab wounds, penetrating injuries
Infection and how to prevent it
Hypothermia/heatstroke/exposure
Magical injuries and healing
Further reminder that there are portable healing cells and first aid kits available from the clinic on request for anyone going into the caves. Clinic is near the colosseum, if you didn't know that already.
Lastly, anyone who is interested in helping out at the clinic can talk to myself or Dr. Banner. People with medical experience are especially useful.
That's all.

Carlisle. Why?
( Well. Teaching might be a stretch. He agreed to talk about it as needed. )

Mostly deals with what being magically healed is like. How it works. ( for those who are unfamiliar with the concept, who may have their suspicions. )

[Guess who's still mildly panicked over the fact that his brother almost ate it. He sucks at healing magic - never was much good at it. 'Course he ain't any good at it. The one thing that'd be useful, and he ain't any good.]

Is there a limit to the amount of people that can attend the classes?
I'd also be willing to help out at the clinic, before or after I attend the classes. I have some basic first aid experience already.

That'd be great. Always seems like we end up short in a crisis. ( handed or supplied. both apply for different - and the same - reasons. )

( honestly, she mostly just stuck with Simon's notes after he left. they were good. comprehensive. it was more about organising the actual teaching that took the time between the demons vanishing and this post. )

( maybe it'd just be easier to list everyone who's shown interest and text them before classes. )

You doing alright? ( what, with one of the people from home leaving and then demons. Kate's been pushing herself so hard to try and forget that, that she's not had time to check on Jo, or Dean or Cas. )

Says Bruce, not for the first time. It's been a bad month for shit catching up, it just honestly has.
"I really owe you one."

It's been a bad month for everyone. Kate just works to ignore that.
"Teach a few of these classes?" That would make it up to her. And, honestly, the notes and lesson plans left by Simon had given her a good enough foundation to not change much. Just figure out how to organise and implement things.

She leaves Bud and Lou outside, wanders in and starts knocking at doors. "Kate? Kate! Are you here, darling?"
[spam | REACHES FOR]
But Bianca gets a look that speaks to relief - at taking a break, maybe, at seeing a friend she hasn't seen in a while, definitely.
