Howdy, everyone! Um, my name is Asriel. And I couldn't help but notice... I think we have new people showing up again? So I thought... well, I had an idea!

[He scuffles around a bit, clumsily adjusting the camera, and holds up a fistful of crayons. Black, blue, yellow, red, and half of a broken purple. Truly a magnificent rainbow this kid has scrounged up.]

Maybe we could make little badges? Or nametags? Something that says "I'm new and I might need help." And maybe people who wanted to help could... I don't know, wear "guide" badges? Nobody has to, I just figured... it's kind of scary when you first come here, right? Maybe it'd make settling in easier! And you wouldn't have to worry, because I'm really great at drawing, and I've got lots of paper and tape. I can make the badges all by myself!

...Um, but maybe try not to get them wet. I don't know how to get plastic, so it's just... paper.

You should try everything out! You might be surprised. My best friend Chara, for instance? Their soul is red, but we actually both like green and gold a lot! But, uh, my favourite colour is rainbow, so I guess I kinda just like everything, hee hee!

How about... what colour is your favourite flower? You could try that first!

My favorite flowers are roses, actually. So... pink is probably the best.

Pink! That's a great choice! My dad likes pink a lot, too.

[Are roses pink? He's pretty sure he should know roses, since they're one of the famous surface flowers. Oh... wait. That's the kind of flower Mettaton uses in his shows. Clenches between his teeth(??) or has people throw up on stage or whatever.]

But, wait. Aren't roses red? I haven't really... um... seen a lot, but I think I remember them looking like that.

Regular roses are usually red, yeah! But they come in different colors, too. White, pink, even orange and yellow. They're really beautiful.

Huh? Really? One flower can come in that many colours?

[Are there golden flowers, then, that aren't even golden? He wishes he'd paid more attention when Dad and Chara pottered around in the garden. Wishes he'd been as good at that stuff as them.]

Are there roses here? I'd really like to see them in person!

Yeah, for sure! Some can even grow in rainbows, but that's because florists dye the water that the plants soak up.

[ Humans come up with the strangest things, honestly. She's only seen a handful of rainbow roses in her day but they're quite a sight to behold. ]

Mm, no. But I asked Sorrow for some! Well. A special kind of rose. The one I'm named after.

You can DO that?! Really? I've got to tell Chara about this! If anyone could make flowers grow, it'd be them!

Um... but I guess we would need roses first, wouldn't we? Can you tell me more about the roses you have in mind? The ones you're named for, I mean!

Ah, actually, I drew a handy dandy little thing when I asked Sorrow for them so...

[ Here is the attachment she sends over. Nothing too spectacular, but it gets the basic information across. ]

They're called the Rosa Rugosa and that's the name my mother gave me. 'Rosalina.'

Wow, that's a really good picture! I can tell you really love these flowers. It's a really pretty name, too, Rosalina.

I think it'd be nice to be named after a flower. My name's... hee hee, it's just my parents' names mushed together. "Asgore" and "Toriel." I guess it's a good thing Chara's adopted, or they'd be stuck being "Torgore" or something!

I think that's cute! Like they wanted a little part of them to carry on in you, maybe?

Though it doesn't seem like there are a lot of other good combinations with those names, no.
