Hellllooooo Hadriel!

[ So. Someone's cheery. One wouldn't think so what with the cave being restored to its 'former glory.' ]

Sure is a bummer that Tranquility's good times ended, huh? [ Understatement of the year. ] Fret not, however, for I have taken it upon myself to plan for Love's inevitable - and fashionably late - arrival!

[ Do you have a bad feeling yet? You should. ]

How, you ask? Well! Easy. I've started charting out the ships down here in the cave. What's a 'ship,' you ask? A ship is short for 'relationship'! This can be any kind, really, but the actual fun is in ones of the romantic sort. [ An oh so innocent bat of her eyelashes. ]

There's a couple obvious ones, there's those who have loved and lost, there's the hopeful buddings of new relationships, and of course we're always wondering who are deities are into.

[ No? Just her? Alright then. ]

You can find the list I've started attached and, please, add to it as you see fit! I'll make the changes accordingly. I'll even try to keep it up to date, so! If any changes happen after the fact - break-ups, make-ups, or unfortunate farewells - feel free to hit me up personally and let me know. This way, Love can be up to speed upon arrival.

They don't lack the ability, they just choose not to use the ones they do have. [ Powers aren't necessary to facilitate change but some won't even use their voices to speak out. Sharon used her abilities in an attempt to do something and it ended as one against what felt like the world would end: her own blood on the walls of her apartment and comforter. ]

[ That word there, friend, makes her stomach twist with anxiety and disgust. She wants to let it go, and she knows it's hypocritical of her to be furious at Bianca's actions because she would have done the same, but human hearts do as they please, regardless of logic. ]

I don't even understand my abilities, Shadow. But... think of my soul like a piece of glass. See, I was born with powers that other people in the world weren't. My mom was a part of a religious group that saw those powers and knew that I could... prophesized that I would give birth to their god and lead them to paradise.

I wasn't going to do that. They burned me alive but I fought back. They hid my burnt, living body in the basement of the hospital and told the world I was dead. They thought they would finish their job, but when I broke my soul into a separate piece, it put a real fucking dent in their plan. That, and locking them away in a world where they would suffer as long as they lived.

People here lead such crazy lives back home.

Fortunately when I took my vessel he was dressed. I thought that... Well. [ His tone is a little embarrassed. ] I thought the clothes were as important to maintain as the skin and the hair...the teeth.

Yes, it is better here. And being a part of it, being able to fight with him, being able to...engage. It is something that I am very grateful for.

I do not want to sleep through my battles. I want to stand by his side, at his shoulder. Always. Every moment.

Even those who seem to think they lead crazy lives themselves seem to hold ours in greater esteem of dysfunctionality.

I'm not sure I understand what is so strange about it.
