So this place is new and different. Which, considering the circles I run in back home, is kinda saying a lot.

Did you know the light in this cave gives off radiation similar, but not identical, to that of a yellow sun? I can't tell if it's tech I just haven't found yet or magic, but it feels really, really weird.

Just so I can brace myself--is everything here like that? Kinda like you're used to but just different enough that it makes your shoulder blades itch?

Don't get me wrong, I can tell this is a new and duplicitous move to fool the simple-minded. Well done. I'm sure some people have already fallen for it.

But perhaps you can tell me exactly what qualities does this so-called "magic" have that could never possibly be explained by a sufficient amount of technological advancement and knowledge, if you're going to stick with that story?

As skeletons go, he looks pretty friendly. A cartoonishly rounded face, a wide grin, a ratty blue hooded jacket and a white T-shirt draped around a frame that contains considerably more girth than a skeleton's meant to.
