So this place is new and different. Which, considering the circles I run in back home, is kinda saying a lot.
Did you know the light in this cave gives off radiation similar, but not identical, to that of a yellow sun? I can't tell if it's tech I just haven't found yet or magic, but it feels really, really weird.
Just so I can brace myself--is everything here like that? Kinda like you're used to but just different enough that it makes your shoulder blades itch?

Hope you don't mind the font, Kara.]
there's a bit of that, yeah.
me and mine lived in an underground city back home.
don't mean we didn't have to adjust.
you know real sun feels like?
text
Yeah, I spent a lot of my time outside back home. Being here is going to be an interesting change.
text
it's an adjustment for most people.
me, i just had to learn to live with the fact that the monsters here won't laugh at my jokes.
[Not that very many of them did back home either.]

That is a very accurate description of this place.
The gods have done an excellent job of hiding everything's true nature. Such as the sun. It must be magic. How could it not?

You are implying the gods might use technology to work their wonders?
text
Clarke was an author from Earth, born in the early 1900s. He wrote a lot of science-fiction anf is pretty famous for his three laws. The third says "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

[Not that Frisk isn't, but...some things you never get used to.]
If the light is like the sun, does that mean it's good for you like the sun?

What kind of circles do you run in back home?

I have not had cause nor opportunity to explore the cave's further reaches, unfortunately, but I would not discount the possibility of magic in this place.
Perhaps it is rich in lightning and fire nodes?
I am sorry I cannot provide more information than that. Everything here is... strange. Off-kilter. I understand the sentiment completely.
text
The food's weird too, right? I'm not the only one thinking that?
text
I... had a hot dog and it made me recover from some rather grievous wounds. So yes, I would think that your assumption would be correct.
[ Luna still isn't entirely sure how she feels about that one, but hey. It worked! ]
Have you only just awoken here, as well?
