001 [Voice]
Much as I would have preferred not to be pulled unceremoniously from my own world, it has occurred to me that this is a rare opportunity to learn about worlds I was previously unaware of.
[In other words, this is her polite way of saying "I'm bored, entertain me".]
How many are from worlds were magic exists? How many are from worlds where the technology is highly advanced?
[She's more interested in the magic portion, really, but she is curious about people's answers regardless.]
What is the government structure like in your world?
Inquiring minds want to know. Or this one does, at least.

Magic... is commonplace in Eos. It is utilized as both an energy source as well as in weaponry, capable of being contained in flasks. I'm not entirely certain what constitutes as "highly advanced," but the Crown City is often at the forefront of technology from where I hail.
[ Lunafreya pauses for a moment before speaking again, taking a breath. ] Monarchies are prevalent upon Eos, though the city of Altissia is ruled by its first secretary. [ A smile ekes into her voice when she speaks again. ] I would hope this has proven informative. I've been very curious about the worlds of others, as well.
voice;
It has been very informative, thank you. I suppose it's only fair to share a little of my own world, then. Much like yours, monarchies are prevalent. The percentage of magic users in the population varies country by country, with the highest percentage hailing from the Kingdom of Fiore, where ten percent of the population has the ability to wield magic in some capacity or another.
voice;
[ A breath. ] As the king's Oracle, I am capable of utilizing a different form of magic. My bloodline is tied to the gods of our star, as are my abilities. In this place, I only have my own energies to rely upon... and while I am able to access the majority of my powers, they are woefully limited here.
[ Luna falls silent for a few moments before speaking again. ]
And of which percentage of your world's population are you?
voice;
[Not that it's Ikaruga's type of magic, but they are a known phenomenon.]
I am part of the ten percent.
voice;
[ Lunafreya laughs softly. ]
I see. Do you have a specific specialty like the mages you mentioned?
voice;
[Good guess on that one, Lunafreya. She's not going to brag extensively about her power because it would have no tangible benefit, but she's not going to hide it, either.]
Mine is wielded primarily through my sword. I've never encountered something I could not cut. Even magically enhanced armour.
voice;
[ The thought is terrifying if she dwells upon it, but she imagines that such a skill has its uses. ]
[ A beat. ] Ah, I don't imagine I caught your name... Forgive my rudeness. I am Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, of Tenebrae. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, my lady.
voice;
[It makes chopping up food for dinner incredibly fast, on a more everyday level of usage.]
I forgot to introduce myself, so you needn't apologize. I am Ikaruga, of the Death's Head Caucus mage guild. The pleasure is all mine. Do you prefer to be known as your full name, or your given name?
[It's good to check when she's actively seeking to get to know people in what will be her home for the near future.]
voice;
[ It's true that Lunafreya is imagining the domestic uses of such a skill; the woman certainly must not hurt for prepared firewood during the colder months. ]
That is a rather fearsome name for what I assume is a fearsome guild. Simply "Lunafreya" will suffice; I realize that my name is a mouthful on its best day. [ A gentle laugh. ] I believe I am safe to assume that you have only just arrived here as well, Lady Ikaruga?
voice;
Oh, there is no risk of me being overly humble about my accomplishments in battle.
[Losing that one fight does rankle since it's a spot on an otherwise excellent record. However, Ikaruga's decided to view her time here as an opportunity to train and grow stronger. Assuming, of course, that she'll ever get home, and that she'll somehow be alive in her own world.]
Your assumption is correct, and if I am calling you Lunafreya, I must insist that you simply call me Ikaruga. I have not used my former title in years.
voice;
[ Luna's fairly eager to learn about the worlds of anyone else here; the way she sees it, this is her only opportunity to attain such knowledge. ]
Alright. [ She laughs good-naturedly. ] I have only just arrived as well. Getting my bearings has proven to be challenging, but I am glad to have had the opportunity to speak to so many people from different places.
voice;
[She has to admit that it is interesting. Learning what she can and having conversations like these will keep her occupied until she can find some means to go home.]
