Much as I would have preferred not to be pulled unceremoniously from my own world, it has occurred to me that this is a rare opportunity to learn about worlds I was previously unaware of.
[In other words, this is her polite way of saying "I'm bored, entertain me".]
How many are from worlds were magic exists? How many are from worlds where the technology is highly advanced?
[She's more interested in the magic portion, really, but she is curious about people's answers regardless.]
What is the government structure like in your world?
Inquiring minds want to know. Or this one does, at least.

Re: action
[A faint smile lingers upon his lips. He's grateful that Ikaruga didn't attempt to refer to him by his full title. Regis is quite aware that his royal name is ridiculously long.]
There's no need for formalities between acquaintances.
[He takes a seat upon a chair nearby in hopes of getting a tad comfortable. Regis is slightly on edge but it's not Ikaruga's fault. If anything, the city itself takes the blame, especially nowdays.]

[The water for the has come to a full boil, and she pours it with the sort of care that would have earned her an approving nod from her etiquette teacher. It doesn't slosh, or make undue noise. It's just a steady flow of water until their cups are sufficiently full.]
Apologies. I don't have any milk or sugar, but the tea I was able to find is naturally just a little sweet on its own.
Re: action
[Please note how he slips in the politeness but doesn't require any sort of formalities on his part. Regis is quite thankful not to wear any titles right now but he's a little old fashioned.]
Milk and sugar seems to be a luxury here in this awful city.
[While he normally has both in his teas, Regis can honestly go without.]
Tell me, when you first arrived---did you also awake within the coliseum?

[Her tone is playful enough, but firm. In leaving behind that title, she left behind the obligations associated with it and achieved independence.]
I did, and encountered some tremendously rude rosebushes, as the young man near me at the time described them. Troublesome things, those plant creatures.
