[The view is actually settled on his face for once. He's getting better at managing this form of technology. Instead of his room which is usually filled with pillows and a messy bed he's sitting on a couch. The room is rather barren and seems to be filled with only basic necessities. It's a little depressing for Tyki's taste but he's sitting comfortably on it like it is his own.

It's not. It's actually the current residence of Yu Kanda and he's here completely uninvited.]

Now that things have settled down it almost feels like everything has normalized. Well, almost everything. I do apologize if my double has done anything rather damaging either to your residence or your person. I ran into him a few times but was unable to stop him. [Due to reasons he doesn't want to discuss. That would mean giving away his abilities.]

I have just two questions today. One, has anyone been to the bottom of the lake? Two, can anyone understand me? [The second question is entirely in Portuguese. It's more of a curiosity than anything.] And lastly, cigarettes. Annoy Hope for cigarettes and I will offer any favor I can whether it is hunting or trading if you are the one to succeed. [Oh, sorry, were you speaking to the public? Kanda doesn't care. Enjoy that boot aiming right for the back of your head there, Tyki, because this was certainly the face of someone walking into intruders. He won't quite stab his couch, not yet, though his little hole in the ground doesn't provide much room in the way of fighting. He's very quick about getting onto Tyki and getting straight to the point. He doesn't care if his phone is still recording. Doesn't care if he catches the Guard's attention. He just wants the bastard out of his sancuary. Which, of course, is no longer such.]

[He's moving quickly off the couch and onto his feet in case that sword does come into play and with a rather bright smile he's holding his hands out wide to make himself less of a threat.] Oh come now, Exorcist. I thought we could have a little chat~♥

[Oh, Tyki still wants to kill Kanda over and over again. He likes fighting Exorcists because they sometimes can be a challenge. Generals especially.

Ah ha. Ah ha. His hands go up a little defensively as that smile falters just a little.] Just as you shouldn't tempt me by drawing a weapon. I'm trying to talk instead of fight. It's rather tiring.

[ It's funny, because Kanda's never officially broken that critical limit, even though he definitely can. Very likely that's something he's going to have to do when he returns home. If he returns home.

He's just scoffing at Tyki, but he's neither withdrawing more sheathing Mugen anymore than he has already. He's not going to be stupid and fall for a trap like that, even if it was actually genuine for once. ]

Then start talking, Tyki.

[Tyki's been thinking a whole lot lately thanks to a certain person and he hates it. It's given him reason to at least consider he might never go home. There's a lot to gain from never doing so and a lot to lose.

That smile is fading more by the second from that brightness to a very quirked smirk. His fingers twitch as he tries to reign himself in from the constant threat. Take a deep breath. Calm.]

Do you want to go home? I know you better than anyone here and destroying you would give me pleasure but there is no point. You'd just be alive at home. Yet... there is a point to keep you alive simply because there might be a time I need your strength or at least a distraction.

I want to propose a truce but let's be honest. The moment someone from home arrives things may change. They may not understand and we'll be forced to pick sides.

[ Kanda could say that he was fine with staying here, yet he also couldn't. There was a debt to repay. There was a particular Noah he needed to kill, and he had just found out something quite interesting about the Order he wanted to look into. Even if it had cost Allen Timcampy. He had Link.

Still, his fingers twitch just slightly at the mention of home. Azure eyes narrow at the proposal. Why the hell would he ever willingly fight with, let alone allow himself to be used by Tyki? No thanks, bro.

But, tentatively: ] ...Depends on who it is. If it ever happens again. [ Because let's be honest, who else will that door ever bring?

Mugen is sheathed, though, with an obvious, annoyed 'tch.' He hates to admit that Tyki actually does have a point in that there was no point in continuously killing each other. As satisfying as it was, it gains them nothing. ] I'd only tentatively be fine with a so-called truth as long as you keep your damned butterflies in check. [ No breeding, Tyki ):< ]

[Someone drilled Tyki hard recently and now he's putting all those little fancy questions right back onto Kanda. What do you know? Talking does work. He's watching Kanda sheath Mugen and the temptation is there to attack but he won't.] You mean, if it isn't the boy?

[To which he means Allen. Though yes, he's not counting family to arrive any time soon. At least his hands get to lower as he rests them down at his sides and he'll talk a small step to the side towards Kanda's kitchen. That is until he mentions his Tease and he'll let one just escape his hand and rest there with a flit.] They haven't really done any harm lately. I just let them eat a little every now and then. Unless you mean what my double did.

[ Goddammit, he hates these kinds of questions. It makes him think more than he cares to, given who he was stuck with here. Well, Tyki's one of the few that's left a nasty taste in his mouth, in any case. ] Perhaps. [ Allen was a flat out 'duh' for upholding a truce. He could possibly see Link going with it, given the fact that he had limitations with actually fighting against a Noah. That, and well, he was the most sensible out of everyone.

Oh my god Tyki, Kanda's just giving the nastiest look at that Tease just flitting about so casually. He really, really hates you, so you know. ] In general. There's no food, by the way.

[He's heard about a few that went home, remembered nothing, then returned back to this place with every memory intact. To think once they went home they'd forget everything. He'd like to remember if he could. It's why those kinds of questions made him think instead of just outright acting on impulse.] Or him. [To which he meant Alma. It was a possibility that could happen from what he's found out. People coming back from the dead wasn't uncommon here. Families and lost loves reunited.

It's escaping into the apartment as it flits off to find somewhere on the ceiling to cling to. There it goes. He stops just short of Kanda's refrigerator with a half laugh.] Ah, is that so?

[ He hasn't particularly paid too much attention to that quite yet. Hasn't been interested enough to. Honestly, he doesn't want to remember. What's the point? Hardly anything worthy of remembering has happened, in his opinion. He'd just rather leave and be done with it.

[ Though his eyes are definitely following it to where it's stopping. He'll have to kill it later. He doesn't care that it hasn't done anything, he doesn't care for it. ] I don't have a reason to stock up. Of course it's empty. [ It gives him an excuse to go into town every day. ]

[That was his mentality for most of his time here until his recent conversation. It would be nice if he could explore more of this world a little longer. Perhaps breaching the surface would be kind of adventurous. Better than just sitting down here and waiting.

[ It was definitely hard to get tired when you're in the heat of the moment. That's something that Kanda can't deny. But he's also learning his limits, now, whereas before he just didn't care to. He didn't have to know them before.

[The death of an Exorcist is something he likes to remember. Eventually it turns into a fond memory.

He doesn't have to look hard. Insults, activating his Innocence, just existing seemed to call Tyki from anywhere. Tyki wanted the challenge, and the biggest one he faced was scowling right at him. ] Taste is a luxury when you'v been on your own for months. [ In all honest, it helped him that he was just a hobo for three months before he returned to the Order. This was no different than that, beyond having a steady place to sleep.

Honestly, it probably wouldn't hurt to spar a little, even though.....yeah, they'll definitely get carried away and it'll likely turn into a full blown fight. Ahaha. Oops. Yeah, that gets his fingers and brow to twitch at the mention of hunting.

But, do excuse his bewilderment at the mention of not leaving him alone. ] What, you care suddenly?

[Right now neither of them were going to let past experiences bother them any longer. He wouldn't be bothered by Skinn and the Alma trick was getting old. Still, if either of them every showed up it would be interesting to see how it played out.

He'll ask eventually because he needs that challenge in his life and while Sans' double had given him quite the workout it wasn't like the skeleton was going to do that naturally. Not when he had such opposition. Kanda was the only outlet for such raw need and want.]

Don't make it complicated with that kind of questioning. There's only one of you Exorcists that could possibly care.

[ Oh no doubt would Skinn try to get revenge on him if he ever showed up. With Alma, Kanda would naturally approach him whether he wanted to kill him or not. Even if it was getting old, Tyki would likely still find ways to spice that up and use it against him.
