[The view is actually settled on his face for once. He's getting better at managing this form of technology. Instead of his room which is usually filled with pillows and a messy bed he's sitting on a couch. The room is rather barren and seems to be filled with only basic necessities. It's a little depressing for Tyki's taste but he's sitting comfortably on it like it is his own.
It's not. It's actually the current residence of Yu Kanda and he's here completely uninvited.]
Now that things have settled down it almost feels like everything has normalized. Well, almost everything. I do apologize if my double has done anything rather damaging either to your residence or your person. I ran into him a few times but was unable to stop him. [Due to reasons he doesn't want to discuss. That would mean giving away his abilities.]
I have just two questions today. One, has anyone been to the bottom of the lake? Two, can anyone understand me? [The second question is entirely in Portuguese. It's more of a curiosity than anything.] And lastly, cigarettes. Annoy Hope for cigarettes and I will offer any favor I can whether it is hunting or trading if you are the one to succeed. In any case, I am bored and will gladly travel with you for company if you have anything to do. I do rath-
[Oh, sorry, were you speaking to the public? Kanda doesn't care. Enjoy that boot aiming right for the back of your head there, Tyki, because this was certainly the face of someone walking into intruders. He won't quite stab his couch, not yet, though his little hole in the ground doesn't provide much room in the way of fighting. He's very quick about getting onto Tyki and getting straight to the point. He doesn't care if his phone is still recording. Doesn't care if he catches the Guard's attention. He just wants the bastard out of his sancuary. Which, of course, is no longer such.]
Get off your lazy ass, get the hell out, and go do your dirty work yourself!
[He's moving quickly off the couch and onto his feet in case that sword does come into play and with a rather bright smile he's holding his hands out wide to make himself less of a threat.] Oh come now, Exorcist. I thought we could have a little chat~♥

[Action]
[She's not bothered by violence and gore, but cleaning up after it? No thanks. Not if she can avoid it.]
This may seem like a bit of an odd question, but has anyone ever tried eating the monsters from the caves? If anyone was ever able to escape the cavern and go on an expedition, it would be useful to know.
[Action]
So if you ever need a body cleaned up just call me. [Because he won't mind feeding them to his Tease, his cannibalistic golems that look like butterflies, which are now slipping out of his back and descending onto the body to eat the pieces.]
They are edible from what I've heard. [He's escorting her deeper into the cavern now that the monsters seem to have backed off.]
[Action]
[She glances back and notes the butterfly-esque creatures coming from his back in the dim lighting. No wonder the swordsman was wary around what appeared to be a butterfly, if they're actually carnivorous. She's curious as to how they came out of Tyki's back, and if they're simply a manifestation of his power or if they're sentient creatures, but those are questions for another time.]
Just think. There could be some new delicacy that people here are on the verge of discovering.
[She doubts the monsters actually taste that good, but so long as they're edible, that's all she really needs to know. Of course, she might test it out on some unsuspecting person by cooking up the meat and watching what happens.]
[Action]
[Though there is the matter of people just coming back and telling everyone over this network of theirs. It was harder to hide here.] I mostly eat fish roasted over a fire but I could do to try something different.
[He's not much of a cook. Not even close. He can cook meat over a fire and that is about it. It's getting rather dark now the further they go in and if not for the big of light his dark matter is providing against his hand and arm it would likely be pitch black. He's just taking her deeper and deeper. There's a shadow moving to their right and he's tracking it. He's learned not to shoot right away in case it was someone else.</small.]
[Action]
[Killing is only a temporary solution here, and it would need to be done carefully. Plausible deniability took effort. Currently there is no one she dislikes enough to be worth that effort. There are some people she likes, a longer list of those she's indifferent to, and a few who've come across as unpleasant from what she's seen of them on the network, but she just hasn't bothered interacting with them.]
Then I'll simply have to invite you over for dinner one day. We can be adventurous together.
[She's not a master cook by any means, but she's moderately capable. The food she prepares is edible and even pleasant to the tastebuds. It's just not gourmet. As they walk deeper into the cavern, she stays close and is mindful of her surroundings using her other senses. She's listening carefully even as they converse. It's a nice way to spend an evening, really. Good conversation, some exercise, and Tyki's butterfly companions are ensuring there's no mess left behind.]
[Action]
[Yet he was finding cooperation to be a hard thing considering many were finding him someone of danger lately. It was pleasant to have someone he could talk to. Someone that was wiling to listen. Someone like minded even if no doubt a little different. It wasn't just that she was a woman that calms him so. It was that she bothered to hear him out at all.]
It's certainly a shame you are not of my world. I would've liked to have you around on my travels. The next time you feel adventurous, invite me. I'll come running.
[Action]
[She's genuinely curious if it's something more than 'a way home', like it was for so many others. He's interesting enough to her that she wants to know more about him. It's not every day that she meets a fellow noble with a similar appreciation and capability for battle.]
I could say the same for you and my own world. You would fit in well with my guild. Although if you joined my team specifically, we would need a new name. Trinity Raven does not suit a group of four.
[Considering she's been with the same team for a little over ten years, it's more of a compliment than he may realize.]
I will be sure to invite you. It's improper for a lady to travel into such dangerous places alone, yes?
[She winks playfully at that. They both know very well that she'd be fine on her own, aside from missing out on the conversation.]
[Action]
[He just would rather not be under the thumb of these gods or their toys.]
I wouldn't know if they'd accept me so readily. I am a little rough to get along with in battle. I do well with my family when we fight together but, well, I do love battle. [And he tends to run off a lot on his own when he gets into it.
He'll take her even deeper into the cavern until he stops at a far way. It's one he knows can extend a little further with his own powers but by normal means this is as far as it is possible at the moment.] Oh, certainly is.
I'm afraid this is the end. Until we figure out how to go further.
[Action]
[Being a member since the guild's founding helps a lot for credibility.
She looks thoughtfully at the cavern wall, then back to Tyki, considering the potential for escape.]
A tactical strike from multiple sources, perhaps. There must be a limit to how much power this barrier can withstand simultaneously.
[Action]
[Far too whimsical for most. He could get rather lazy when he simply didn't want to do something.]
I agree though we may not have enough power to do so even with the lot of us. It does go a little further into the wall but eventually the barrier holds.
[Action]
Oh? I will grant that wandering off might make my guildmates a bit cross with you, but they would be more apt to take your portion of the wages on any job that you wandered off from rather than hold a grudge against you for it.
[She considers it a bit longer.]
How can you tell where the barrier stops?
[Action]
[His head tilts back lightly and to the side to look down at her to scrutinize her lightly. His fingers curl on the wall in front of him and he'll smile rather brightly all of a sudden.] Now, now. If I told you everything about me there would be nothing left to share later, hmm?
[Action]
[Yup, definitely a brat.]
Pique my curiousity and then deny me quick answers? Clever man. A wise tactic for holding a lady's attention. I suppose I have no choice but to spend more time with you in the future, Lord Tyki.
[Action]
He smiles a little wide as he turns them around and starts to head back out.] As you wish. It would be wrong of me to deny you of such a request.
[Action]
[She's always unerringly polite with clients unless they make the mistake of attempting a double-cross. Even then, she's quite civil under the circumstances. Just very assertive.]
Perhaps you might be willing to walk me home? I live in Delight's housing area.
[Not that far from the swordsman you were just antagonizing earlier, Tyki.]
[Action]
[He'll nod to her request and will keep his arm against her arm as he escorts her back through the same path he's use to taking to make his way out. He'll chuckle though given where that is.]
Mmm, I do know where it is.
[Action]
[She does find it fascinating, comparing and contrasting worlds with people.]
Although in my world, mages break that mold. There is no division of labour based on gender in mage guilds. Either you have talent and power, or you do not.
[Action]
[It's why they often found themselves in Tyki's bed or at his parties often tried to gain his attention so he'd ask their hand in marriage. Most Baroness' enjoyed pawning off their daughters.]
I know of an organization that is much of the same though it goes further than that in enlisting children for their slaughter. Not that I'm comparing that to your mage guild.
[Action]
[Like herself. But that's not something she wants to get into right now.]
Although given the term 'enlisted', that makes the organization you are referring to sound more militaristic and formally structured than a guild.
[Action]
[He kills people from that organization but he won't mention that. Not on their first meeting.]
From what I've seen it can be. There are ranks, titles, functions and strict leaders. I don't know much about the inner workings to be honest but I know that the weapon does not give you a choice. You fight or you lose yourself.
[Action]
[Some manipulation or pressure isn't unheard of, but there's no overt coercion.]
Magic manifests in childhood and there can be accidents at the very beginning, but magic does not control the mage and it does not take long to learn basic control.
[Action]
[He looks forward now that they are out of the caverns with his Tease dealing with the smaller creatures sneaking up behind them. How rude.]
This particular weapon starts off without being joined with the host if not born within the body and at any given time it can choose a host at any time. An Inner Source shows Generals where they may be hiding and these weapons out in the wild are collected and then contained until they find a host of their own. If anyone chooses this fate they are quite mad. Once you join you're never allowed to leave.
[Action]
[Not the nicest is an understatement for a guild both renowned and infamous for its unparalleled rate of successful assassinations, but she doesn't feel any remorse for the jobs she's taken on. It's not as if she's murdered children.]
They sound like an absolute delight.
[Her voice is practically dripping with sarcasm as she comments on the organization.]
[Action]
[The housing was not far and while he wanted to follow her into her house she didn't seem like the type of woman that would go for that immediately. Not to mention he wanted to know more about her in general. It would be rather rude.]
I enjoyed the walk, my lady.
[Action]
[She doesn't let go of his arm just yet.]
Thank you for the tour of the caves, Lord Tyki. It was lovely getting to know you a little.
[There's a light touch to his arm before she finally releases it. A small gesture of affection. Her impression thus far: kindred spirit.
There are some differences to be sure - for one, she's already gotten the impression that he's more impulsive than she is. But they do share a rare combination of seemingly opposite traits - nobility and brutality. They can talk about posh parties while walking through a cave casually slaying monsters and consider it time well spent.]
Do let me know when you'd like to spend time together again.
