[The person in the video might look familiar to some, if slightly more tired and banged up than usual. Still, despite the bruise on his forehead and the dark streaks of ash on his face and clothes his eyes are bright, indicating to anyone even slightly acquainted with him that he's about to say something ridiculous.]

[His voice is a little weak but he delivers the line with all the sassiness it deserves, before suddenly offering a grin.]

Okay, so like maybe two people here got that reference, but I so don't care. I punched a shark, so I can make whatever meme references I want.

So um... Who's still here, I guess? Or who's new? How long have I been gone, because it feels like no time and like, a long time all at once. Sort of.

[He blinks a few times, smile fading a bit, mostly because he's totally exhausted.]

I'm um... I'm Chris, by the way. Been here before and whatever so... Got the general idea. The sharks are sort of new, though. Fucking sharks, man.

You know, I don't think I can even say that like, I hate the sharks. Not a fan, but I mean they're way better than the gelatin face-mouth things from last time.

Good guess! We have all of them now except Love, who I assume may be of the scorned variety when they find out they were last. We'll see.

Tranquility is really attractive. Really attractive. He's not so bad personality wise, either.

[He's been voting for the 'anyone but Love' option this whole time, so he can't really say much on the subject. He doubts scorned Love would be any worse than regular Love, though.]

[And since Confusion was anything but confused and uncertain, from what little Chris had spoken to her, he wouldn't exactly have counted on Tranquility living up to his name in the attitude department.]

It certainly doesn't hurt. [ she shrugs. what they really need is a god who, you know, actually cares or knows how to take care of humans. ]

[Hey there's no point in wishing for things that are totally unrealistic.

At her question he's quiet a moment, before finally shaking his head. It's less a no than a show of uncertainty, however.]

I um, I don't know, I guess. I mean, I don't... It was kind of like rewinding a tape and watching part over again, then pausing in the exact same spot you stopped last time; I don't like, remember anything new, and what happened at home already happened before I got here last time.

[He hasn't gotten it all straight in his head yet, so there's no way he can really explain it clearly to someone else, but he's trying.]

[ she nods. it sounds confusing. ] That must be weird. Disorienting.

I'm glad nothing got worse at home. At least - I guess it didn't?
