[Some might recognize the cat - the stray cat that seemed to hate Anakin before - behind said Sith. So what if the fuzzy creature is batting a ball between his paws and being downright charming? So what?]
My talents are going to waste. I'm accepting students, but if you don't show any talent with the Force, I will drop you.
[He wants his own army because why the hell not?]
Ben, you're my first student. [No matter what a certain once-Padawan says!Yes, he is that childish.] Don't be late tonight.

Ben, you're my first student. [No matter what a certain once-Padawan says!

A fallen Jedi and a to-be-Sith can trust no one. This is the path he has chosen; the path he favors. The only one he has been able to relax around - completely - within Hadriel is, ironically, Curufin's brother.]
Nice place. [He can appreciate the build and, more importantly, the sword. There is a small intake of breath before he lifts the blade into his hands. It is almost...too beautiful.]
What if it's chipped? [That would just be sad.] I like the balance of it. [With an expertise born of experience - much experience - he spins the sword, slashing it through the air in quick, precise motions. His prosthetic hand doesn't seem to slow him down in the least!]
[Action]
Curufin sees the darting eyes, but simply remains where he is, looking utterly relaxed and non-threatening. As much as a Fëanorian ever can, that is. He would appreciate the irony of Anakin and Maedhros, if he knew what Anakin was thinking. ]
Thanks. [ He smiles when Anakin admires the sword and picks it up to try it out. It is Curufin's own work, of course, and it is the sword he carried with him from the time he forged it in Himlad until his death. . and after, apparently. ]
It has never been chipped. I made it out of meteoric iron, and that is amazingly hard stuff. And then, on top of that, I spent ten years hammering it to harden it even further. And of course, it's an Elvish blade. It carries my intentions, and I intend it not to break or chip. But if either were to occur, I'd simply melt it down and re-forge it.
[ He admires the man's sword technique. Obviously very experienced, and very, very talented. ] Nice moves!
[Action]
You're right. [Meteoric iron is a good base and he holds the sword to the light, nodding.] What do you mean it carries your intentions? Is that how Elven blades work?
[Useful! Lightsabers need that sort of power.]
I've been working with a lightsaber for years. I had to readapt after losing my hand, of course, but if anything, I feel I've gotten better.
[Action]
[ And surely a lightsaber could be made that way? It would be an interesting project, if Curufin had the tools, materials, and knowledge to craft such a thing. But no matter. He could make a steel sword for Anakin that would be an excellent blade, worthy of the talents of its master. ]
I can well believe that. In your motions, I see years of practice. With your proficiency, there would be no reason you couldn't become as expert with the one had as you were with the missing one. [ As did Maedhros. ] Or even more so. How did you lose your hand?
[Action]
[He is rather limited with his lightsaber. The kyber crystal that powers it is one of a kind, but it's not something he made or manufactured. The only parts that could contain his will - conceivably - would be the parts that surrounded the crystal. Still, the heart of the saber is out of his control - though it does react to the one using it by settling on a certain color.]
Thanks. [He grins and sets the sword down carefully, reverently.] During a duel. My...Master...and I were trying to apprehend a Sith Lord called Count Dooku and the Count caught me off-guard. He was a better swordsman than me...then.
[Action]
[ Curufin would wonder at that description: limited. Even with a sword whose heart is out of Anakin's control, Curufin would be surprised if his new acquaintance was not a superlative swordsman. ]
And from the tone of that word, then, I surmise that you met Count Dooku later on, and turned the tables on him?
