[There's no video, because it's too dark in the coffin to show anything anyway. Adam's voice is carefully steady, as if he's keeping himself under control through sheer power of will.]

I saw that Fear said our air supply will be refreshed. I don't know if that's true - I don't know if we can trust him - but I thought people ought to know anyway.

[Not that he necessarily believes anything any of the gods say, but - well. Who knows.]

Talking is a little less impersonal than text. It might help to hear a familiar voice, if any of your friends are buried. There also isn't much to do down here but panic, so if anyone wants to talk - I wouldn't mind.

Hehe, yeah I guess not, but I don't think I've ever really tried to be either.

I had lots of people on my team that were way better at that sort of thing, to be honest. [almost literally everyone. maybe not genis.]

Then I guess you don't really have to be. Might as well focus on what you're good at, right?

Besides, when you can fight that well, you don't really need to be intimidating.

Sure. You beat a yeti right in front of me. I don't know a lot of people who could do that.

Eh, just about any one of my friends back home, probably.

Maybe, but I don't know any of them, and none of my friends could do that. So it's pretty impressive.

I guess it all comes down to what kind of worlds we all came from.

Yeah, I guess your world is full of monsters and heroes and mine mostly has rich boys with fast cars and too much free time.

It's like, um - a cart. Or a chariot, maybe? Except it doesn't need horses, it uses an engine to move.

Oh, like the Rheairds! Hm, but if it's like a cart then they probably don't fly, do they?

Not cars, but we have airplanes and helicopters, which fly. You have flying machines? I wouldn't have expected that.

I guess we technically didn't. The Rheairds belonged to the Renegades. Them and the Desians were the ones with all the magitech.

[Well, he can figure out 'renegades' and 'magitech', more or less. And Rheairds are presumably some kind of flying machine. But-]

Uh, half-elves.

Oh. So you've got dwarves and elves and half-elves. I guess that makes sense.

[Well, if you just stepped out of a fantasy novel, anyway.]

And spirits. And angels. But I guess those were just Cruxis people so maybe not?

[it's something to consider. and maybe talk to someone like the professor or even colette about, since lloyd had never given angels much thought until he'd had to fight them.]

And, uh. I guess Noishe's actually something called a Protozoan?

Where I'm from, we just have normal animals and humans.

I can't imagine what it would be like to live around such different beings.

It's pretty normal. [lloyd offers with only a faint shrug.]

Though I guess sometimes people still got scared and angry about people that were different, so maybe it wasn't that normal for everyone. [either way it clearly didn't bother lloyd.]

I guess if it's always been that way, it wouldn't be strange to you. And really, I think people will get scared and angry about anything that's different.

[It seems to be human nature. Not really Lloyd's style, though, he thinks.]

Yeah. [lloyd agrees with a soft sigh.] I don't really get it though. Seems like a pretty sad and lonely way to live to me.

[and the, because this is lloyd, the energy in his voice dips upward again pretty quickly.] No problem! I think it's pretty cool to learn about all the different things between worlds.

Yeah, I agree. Everyone seems to come from such different places.

[And it helps him not think about things like being trapped in a coffin underground.]

Oh yeah, I should probably check on some friends and make sure they're all okay.
