[There's something distinctly different about Fear when he turns the video on this time. He seems even less human than normal, not breathing, not blinking, as if he's forgotten how to manipulate his form so that it actually appears lifelike.

He manages to move his mouth as he speaks, but the motion doesn't quite sync up with the words echoed in through the mic.]

...so I've finally failed.

[His eyes are unfocused, but he looks downward, contemplative.]

I only got half the city out. It won't be enough- we can't start over, not without Hope. So it ends here, I suppose.

[He takes in his first breath since beginning the recording, letting it out in a long sigh.]

I'm sorry.

[She already likes you guys, but now her Hero Mode has kicked on and she just wants to help you guys win! Whatever's scaring them so much... she wants to help them!]

Well, maybe. Are you here with us, or over on Fear's side?

[It's a few frantic seconds of fiddling with her phone and focusing her thoughts vefore she answers.]

'M with you. What do you need me to do?

They're the ones really in trouble. But here - well, I guess with Hope gone, things are gonna get pretty tough. Look out for monsters.

What-- why? They've got Hope. I don't--

[She shakes her head. Get it together, Faith!]

Monsters I can take care of. I'm a healer too, I can keep people alive.

[For a while.]

Hope's on the other side, which is - well, not great, since of all of us he needs to survive the most. But for you guys over here, it especially sucks.

[For once, Tranquility looks a bit grim.]

He kind of did a lot around here. I don't know how much we can do to fill in - frankly, we all left it to him because he did it best. The food, keeping the lights on and the monsters out. Oh, and revivals. Can't do those at all.

[Faith winces. She can't make food, she can't keep the lights on, and she can't revive people. But she can heal people, and she can light candles left, right, and center if the light is needed.]

I'll do what I can, then. I'll fight monsters, I'll light candles.

'M not givin' up. As long as there's hope that we'll survive, I'll do what I can, yeh?

That's what I like to hear. Well, what Hope likes to hear, anyway, and right now it's exactly what we need.

Thanks for you help. I mean it.

[Faith shrugs, smiling, mostly getting rid of the tension on her face.]

Least we can do, yeh? Now that we know what you've all really been up to all this time.

[Winking, she blows Tranquility a kiss.] Off to help now. We'll get through this!

[There's a little tightness to her smile still, but she keeps it firmly in place until after she's hung up.]
