[Video] backdated to the 29th because I suck
[A blonde fifteen year old appeared on the screen, with the clinic in the background. He had a sunny, relaxed laziness to his demeanor, like a cat content in a sunbeam.]
Most of you may not have met me yet, I'm Will Solace, I arrived a few weeks ago. I'm working over at the clinic. I'm a surgeon, although I sincerely hope none of you ever need my help.
[Will really hopes everyone keeps their limbs attached, and their organs on the inside. Already, this place seems a lot calmer than Camp. No one's gotten maimed or anything.]
I wanted to let everyone know that Dr. Lee Rosen passed away earlier. The clinic will still be open of course to anyone who needs help.
[Will keeps glancing around, almost like he expects trouble, habits die hard. Especially those habits ingrained to keep you alive. No monsters yet.]
To that end I'm trying to fulfill his requests. Who is Frisk?
[private to Lance Sweets]
How are you doing on food? And in general? Dr. Rosen... Lee
[Will stumbles, still trying to figure out what to call. Guess it might not matter anymore]
He wanted me to check on you. Make sure you were eating real food. How's your five basic food groups?

Re: video
[That was one of the strangest concepts Will had ever been introduced too.}
I think I'll totally ask them about that. Where I'm from, the gods aren't really about multiple choice questions and voting. It's not really a democracy when it comes to individuals who aren't gods.
video
[It's weird to him too, though probably for different reasons.]
You have a lot of gods where you're from?
Re: video
[Besides being not related to these guys.]
There are still Gods creating havoc. Here it just seems more regular and less big scale.
video
[This cave city is pretty much their world, so the things that happen here are pretty big scale.]
How do you deal with the gods at home?
Re: video
And then when they come down asking you to pick up their gym shorts or out of control automoton, which happens to be right in the middle of monster central, you do it.
Gods are kind of an intrinsic part of my life back home. You can't really escape family, no matter how dysfunctional.
These guys? As as I can tell, are pretty run of the mill. There are certain things they can and can't do, each with their own territory. The way they gain power is different, but I guess that's expected, being embodiments of emotion.
[The cave was big scale for the area they occupied. But it made Will wonder if they were unique, or if the gods here had other 'caves' or landscapes they watched over as well. What if they were just one of many snowglobes?]
video
[Gods are only an abstract concept in Adam's world, the focus of religion and personal belief. Certainly not the kind of creatures who would ask for something like that, or get involved with people at all. Frankly, he prefers that. There's enough to worry about in the world without taking gods into account.]
If you ask them, they'll say they aren't exactly gods, but that the concept is about as close as we can get. Or something like that. Probably better to not assume they work the way your gods at home work.
Re: video
Yeah. That's pretty much life.
[Will totally gets where you're coming from Adam. Sometimes, he wishes that was him too. Have a life where your dad didn't think suddenly giving you the chickenpox and having it spell out 'Apollo' was an appropriate claiming. Or getting a birthday card for a sibling that died forty years ago. Sometimes, life with gods sucked. Moreso when they were family.]
So they're not gods, but we just don't have a word for what they are? I guess I'll try and widen my horizons then. Thanks!
Re: video
[He tries to lend a hand when he can, anyway.]
