[Ol' Gil is a lot more upset about what happened than he's letting on, but he's going to attempt to Play It Cool. That's a lot easier to do over text.]
hey gods
if you're going to turn this place into an actual livable town, how about keeping it that way
it was a nice change from the whole gross dark cave thing. you know, grass and sky and all that.
except for the fake memories. that was pretty shitty of you guys. like i would ever marry *some guy* and *sell insurance*?! you must have done a really good job faking us out, cuz it's hard to believe i'd go along with that for so long haha wow
there's no way i'd forever forget who i really am
anyway
it at least gave me the idea of capture the flag. would anyone be interested in forming some teams and kicking some asses? bet it would get pretty crazy since like most people here seem to have weirdo superpowers and stuff
let me know. it'll be awesome and you know it!!

[Whether that's suggestive or not, he'll leave it to your imagination, Gilbert.]
I thought it was a nice house~ You really did afford some nice things, illusion or no.
[Tatara has to think on that last question for a few moments.]
Well, maybe it's something like photosynthesis. Where plants can only eat if there's sunlight and water. Yes, we give them energy, and sometimes by concerning means, but overall, we live through it just fine.
And, in return, they give us the ability to live easily, with food, drink, and friends. The ones who need the concerning stuff - Sorrow, Fear, Rage - they probably can't help it. Where else would they get their nutrients from? It can be a mutual ecosystem if we let it.
Personally, I prefer helping the Gods to the alternative. I don't exactly have anything waiting for me if I go back home.

[Prussia plz. You two were fake married; being naked in a hot spring is nothing.]
yeah okay except there isn't usually mental and physical torture going on when it comes to photosynthesis. there's a difference between being mutual and being their victims

[On a more serious note.]
I'm not saying your feelings aren't valid here, I do see where you're coming from. But if you could make it a mutual benefit, how would you go about it? Instilling fear, sorrow, and rage aren't things often done willingly. And if they need it for their survival, for their abilities to keep us alive and satisfied, I'm not sure how else we would be able to get it to them. But I'm certain if you have any alternatives, the Gods can probably be reasoned with. Maybe we just need to find that solution. We can do it together if we try.

we're not still married you know!!
the gods claim to need emotions like food, right? unless you know of something else they can eat instead. i doubt it's like deciding to go vegetarian
as much as i don't want them doing this shit to us, we need them to get our own food and electricity and stuff. it sucks!
no subject
I mean, unless you're not interested.
[Tatara, stop teasing.]
I agree with you, there. We are already in that mutual ecosystem. They can't live without us, and we can't live without them. And I don't have any alternative options on top of my head. But I think we can still work toward it. If we find it, everyone can live more peaceful lives, right? And it doesn't hurt to look.
What do we have to lose, after all?

[Someone doth protest too much. Notice how he hasn't said "no" yet?]
what do we have to lose? our time, or sanity, or lives... cuz all that's going on in the meanwhile are these parasites whipping up weird shit to make us miserable.

But worrying about things beyond our control just makes everything awful. So let's make friends and fall in love anyway.
[Meant more to be read as "you should be free to make friends and fall in love" but probably comes more acrost as "you and Ishould make friends and fall in love. Not that he minds, trololol.]
Well, sounds to me like we'll lose that anyway. So... I think we should try anyway.
Funny, I expected Soldier-types to be more gungho about plans to make things better, rather than mope about what they can't have. :P
[Take that, Gilbert.]

[Oh wow, shots fired]

[Congrats, Tatara. The battle is yours.]

[Of course, he's not saying that people up and just... vanish for whatever reason back home either. But dying is definitely a thing.]
Oh, so you WILL go on a date with me? Hooray!
Sure, you can pick the places and activities. I don't mind. Just no bedroom stuff on the first date.
[Tatara, you're terrible.]
no subject
