So it's day 2 of Ikea madness,
and I figured we should set up some kind of cragslist situation,
so that people can get rid of things they really don't want.
Or if you for some reason feel like filling your house with this stuff
follow your dreams?
Anyway I found this yesterday:
[Attached is a photo of a very odd table, the front half of it, anyway. It's sticking out of an apartment wall at an odd angle, legs mostly horizontal. There's a second photo of the back half, which appears to be in another room.
A jacket is hanging off of one of the hooves. Looks like someone has found a use for it, at least.]
If anyone knows how to get this out of the wall
without like, destroying said wall
they're welcome to it.
But to be honest I'm kind of getting used to it.
Might call it "Dave".
This I'm not too keen on:

we work for an adventuring guild. were like freelance heroes or w.e.
we reclaim magical artifacts and rescue ppl from faeries and exterminate dragons. shit like that.
so yeah sometimes that involves taking down bad guys and that sometimes results in brain dmg.
or death. death is more likely.

weve never been hired strictly to kill anyone.
not like a person anyway. and even the jobs where its like stop this asshole the asshole is usually a demon or a dragon or smthn.
the only actual ppl weve killed have been actual assassins actually. someone put a hit out on our guild leader and my gf.
we killed the fuck out of those guys but that just sorta happened. we werent hired to do it.
o and we killed this dude who kidnapped a bunch of kids and was usin em as a life force or w.e. he killed one before we stopped him. had four others he was plannin to off too.
hed been torturing them.

he was also an assassin.
ig were more like anti assassins at this rate.

well first off its really fuckin hard to mess w. someones magic.
afaik anyway. ive never heard of it happenin to anyone else.
tldr my ex fucked me over. idk how he did it but he pulled some shit that reset my magic back to like zero.
had to relearn it.
which technically made me a wizard for awhile? like kyna. but then i fucked w. some demons and my old magic came back.

its similar. buckle up lemme explain basic magic to u. what kind of mage u r depends on where u get ur magic from.
theres a shitload of ways. wizards are the most common ime. they learn magic just like ud learn any trade skill or w.e. they have colleges and shit for it back home. u can also just teach urself.
u can also like make pacts w. demons or deities or idk whoever tf. nature in general? idk what druids are abt. but thats what they do i think?
warlocks make deals w. demons and paladins are like mormons but w. healing powers and shit. maybe clerics too? icr.
idfk man im not abt to make a fuckin deal w. some higher power. thats never not bad news imo.
anyway last kind of mage is the best kind. sorcerers are born w. their magic.
i dont have to work as hard to earn that shit in the first place but its unstable. its twice as hard to control but i can do more shit w. it.
like sometimes i can reroute shit so it doesnt affect my friends. u need special training to do that as a wizard or w.e. and i can cast faster and doublecast some shit. its more malleable.

tldr sorcerers are the best wizards are legit enough and everyone else is a fuckin scrub for relyin on big bads for their juice.

I mean I realize you don't get to pick,

Pacts with demons sounds like bad news,
and magic college sounds like a lot of work.

u dont have to go to magic college to be a wizard tho. ur supposed to but its kind of like drivers ed?

the rules arent the same for magic but u can get registered as a mage w.o goin to school for it.

o necromancy involving ppl is illegal. it gets tricky w. animals but in general necromancy is usually frowned upon if not illegal.
