Hey.
[That's it. That's the post. No tl;dr info-dump, no questionnaire, no nothing.
[Is she doing this social media thing right?]

But it is neat. Seems like it will come in handy in the long run, at least.

Oh yes, because the alternative is carrier pigeons! Or those little guys that like to echo things back at you that I've seen flying around here.

What– bats? (God, she can't even imagine.) Where I'm from, you'd just use a Stone of Farspeech– though, I suppose these 'phones' are just like them, albeit capable of many more functions.
no subject
No, not bats. I'm talking about the birds.
Jabberjays, I believe they are called.
How fascinating! What manner of functions did these stones serve?
no subject
Jabberjays? I've never heard of them. (Juuuust gonna make a note to look that up sometime.)
Just the one: communication. You can talk via a set of stones no matter the distance between them.

[Ravine might not have been here for their arrival, but it's easy enough for her to pick apart pieces of information that's already been unveiled.
[Trying to figure out what will be, however, is another story.]
Oh. That's no fun
These things at least have entertaining games on them!
no subject
(She doesn't mean for that to sound so blunt: just that it doesn't make any sense to her.)
Games?
What do you mean?
no subject
[She doesn't really mean for that to be as existential as it sounds, but there you go.]
Exactly what it sounds like. There are games on these phones to help pass the time, in the same way as any other application that's in it.

(How perfectly horrible.)
But on this? (She isn't used to the capability of technology, so it's a little mind-boggling to her.) Where do I find them?
no subject
Others are just monsters
I don't judge
[Oh dear, is Ravine going to have to be the one to explain how technology works to a living?]
Not all of the icons have words on them, so it might be confusing at first.
Press the one with the six dots at the very bottom and a list of them will appear.
