[Like the last few posts that have occurred, this is also clearly in regards to the Null's latest announcement; however, Lance is trying a different tactic, because he's doing his best to avoid getting kicked out of seeing their list. So he's wording this very carefully, and that's purposefully obvious in his tone; it's also probably pretty obvious in how intent his stare is, and in how he's casually fiddling with his FBI badge in view of the screen.

He's really hoping the Null aren't too good with subtle body language, and that the people here aren't as generally bad at it as he's concerned they are.]

In light of recent occurrences, I'd like to remind everyone that I'm a psychologist, and I have an office in the clinic should anyone wish to speak confidentially. Additionally, although I prefer to work with individuals, group meetings are also possible.

[Aka the Clinic is available for anyone who wants to have private conversations about all of this going on, and Lance will be lurking there himself both to participate and keep watch on things.]

I won't stop you, if you're interested in doing so, but you shouldn't feel obligated.

[Because it could be dangerous, and as capable as he thinks Nico probably is he's still hesitant to put a teenager in any sort of dangerous position, even if he's volunteering.]

I have more personal reasons for wanting to keep anyone in the clinic safe, but people who can't defend themselves because they're injured... It's not right to target them. I want to help, and I can bring some back up too, if you're not opposed to some skeletons standing guard.

I already have some. Hope made a deal with Will to give him nectar and ambrosia in exchange for killing monsters out in the tunnels and I've been helping with that so I have a collection by now.

At this point I don't think we should be too choosy about what methods we're using to protect people, as long as they're not crossing any moral lines.

[So skeletons aren't a problem as far as Lance is concerned, as long as they're not sentient or suffering or anything from Nico summoning them.]

[They're sort of sentient, as smart as the monsters are, but they definitely aren't suffering when he summons them. They'll just listen to him instead of attacking people like they would have when they were alive.]

Do you need to stay with them, or will they just guard passively without you being here?

The sooner the better, probably, although is there a way that you could have them remain more toward the back of the clinic unless there's something they need to intervene on?
