[Like the last few posts that have occurred, this is also clearly in regards to the Null's latest announcement; however, Lance is trying a different tactic, because he's doing his best to avoid getting kicked out of seeing their list. So he's wording this very carefully, and that's purposefully obvious in his tone; it's also probably pretty obvious in how intent his stare is, and in how he's casually fiddling with his FBI badge in view of the screen.

He's really hoping the Null aren't too good with subtle body language, and that the people here aren't as generally bad at it as he's concerned they are.]

In light of recent occurrences, I'd like to remind everyone that I'm a psychologist, and I have an office in the clinic should anyone wish to speak confidentially. Additionally, although I prefer to work with individuals, group meetings are also possible.

[Aka the Clinic is available for anyone who wants to have private conversations about all of this going on, and Lance will be lurking there himself both to participate and keep watch on things.]

[Lance is in the main area, sitting up on a desk and monitoring the network on his phone, and glances up when he hears someone enter. Despite the seriousness of the situation, he offers Rosen a small smile both of greeting and in response to his statement.]

[As far as he's concerned he's not really showing any great restraint, especially since this post was a risk on its own.]

I don't know for certain, but I can find out. Do you know what type in particular, or does it matter?

[Lance only knows the basics of inhalers, but he is aware there are different types of medications. Also he's suddenly very concerned about the idea of someone needing one and not having them.]

[He seems flustered, his normally shy and skittish nature exacerbated by everything that's happening. But he's at a loss so he needs to ask someone who might know better what to do right now.]

[Lance has seen Delmar in the network but never spoken with him, so he responds a little more professionally than he did to Rosen or Kate; he slides off the desk to actually stand up, FBI badge visible where it's tucked into his belt.]

[Lance recognizes him from his post, although they haven't actually met yet and so he's a little more professional about the greeting than he would normally be; he stands up, from where he'd been sitting in one of the chairs in his office, and turns to face Matt. He's already figured out that Matt is blind--not that it takes a lot of skill to discern that--so he follows that up with a little additional information just in case.]

There's a free chair about five feet ahead of you and slightly right, if you'd like to sit.

Lance steps out of his office at the sound of her voice, nodding at her in greeting; she looks vaguely familiar from the network, but he doesn't believe they've met.

"Hello. Is there anything I can help you with?" He can't assume she's here due to his post, after all; people still might need to come to the clinic for other reasons.

[Brennan looks smug as she walks into Sweets's office, not at all concerned over the fact that she is now on the hit list. This is fine. It is not the first time someone has had it out for her. She has a gun, she can fight, it is fine. There was a time when she survived horrible things without Booth in her life, ready to come to her aid at a moment's notice.

It is fine, and she does not regret what she told the Null.]

It would seem that I am now one of the growing number of enemies of the "state" -- or whatever term it is the Null use for people who dare express their opposition to their plans to commit genocide.

[Ephemera can't say he's surprised, really. It's like getting dropped into a war zone and waiting for the front line to advance to your position. Eventually, the quiet will leave and you'll have to get serious. He's been to war plenty. Knows how to survive it, work with it.

And he knows not everyone can, or should.

He's not surprised to end up on the list. Better him than one of the kids, who don't know how to protect themselves. He's got armor, he'll be fine.

But the kids he worries about.

Ephemera isn't used to worrying about other people. He's not sure what to do about it.

[Lance is staring at his phone, scrolling through the network with one hand while he idly stirs tea that's probably gone a little colder than it should be with the other. But he looks up immediately when Ephemera enters, offering a nod of greeting and setting his phone down to give his full attention.]

[Ikaruga goes through an internal debate before she finally decides to go to speak to Lance in person. She respects that he's able to maintain a cool head and tries to understand others. He also shows a willingness to learn and improve himself that she appreciates. But above all, the reason she decides to speak with him is because of the things he's mentioned about confidentiality.

She's watchful of who comes in and out of the Clinic, waiting until it's quiet before approaching his office door.]

[He's a little surprised to see her, but pleasantly so; he saw her conversation with the Null, and they'd--at least outwardly--had similar thoughts about things.]

[ Drake is staying off the network from now on, not wanting to give the Null any reason to block him. He doesn't have a plan yet, but he knows it'll be important that he not be a target, that he can still see who is. He knocks on Lance's door even though it's open, as always. ]

[He paused to sketch an idea, and erase something, changing and making notes. Lance might hear footsteps as he walked and sketched.]
