Hey, gang! Hope some of you didn't get maimed-slash-dismembered over the last couple weeks. [stated as breezily as ever, way to go lilith.]

Got a PSA for you all. I know alcohol sounds pretty great, especially after the wendigo crap, but don't drink the stuff in the restaurants without checking it first. I got lucky with the first one I tried-- sorta tasted like a fruit cocktail kind of thing-- but one time a bottle got knocked out of my hands and it dissolved through the floor. So, uh. Yeah.

Also, does anybody else have guns around here? Are you restocking your ammo at all or are you just... rationing it out? I've been trying to look around the armory but every weapon there's of the stabby variety. That's great and all, but you can't shoot swords out of a shotgun.

[Telling people about the wendigos had just been the right thing to do so the comment is a little bit of a surprise, but not a bad one. The rest of her response is similar to what he's thinking, though.]

Yeah, I mean, the armoury is hers, so maybe she just didn't think about adding anything modern to it? She'd be the one to go to.

If you're willing to ask her that'd be awesome; I'd do it but I'm worried about using up all my talking-to-gods luck.

[And he'd guess Rage would want something in return anyway and he doubts he'd have a lot to offer. Short-lived fits of trauma-induced anger aside, he's just too calm and even-tempered to generate much emotion for her and he certainly doesn't have anything else to give her.]

[Lilith, on the other hand, has a lot to offer, feeling her emotions so keenly all of the time. Rage'll probably be pleased.]

I dunno if you've talked to any of them at all yet, but Hope and Fear were both pretty chill as long as you're not a jerk to them. Even though that can be, you know, kind of tough.

[Since Hope was kind of not forthcoming and Fear is simultaneously terrifying and response for all sorts of horrible things happening to them. But he's guessing she'll have decent luck as long as she doesn't insult Rage when talking to her, if Rage is anything like the other two gods.]

["Not be a jerk" is a little bit of a feat. Lilith has already failed at that, at least with Hope.]

are they especially grudgey in that case

Well I sort of just sassed hope for making us eat people. That shouldn't be too unforgivable right

Probably not. I mean he's not too surprised by people being annoyed and it's not like he gets anything out of messing with us.

[Chris figures the only issue would be that Hope probably wouldn't be super inclined to offer favors to people who have been rude to him, not that there's much risk of him actually doing anything to actively harm anyone like Fear or Rage might.]
