[ She's been here for, well, almost a whole month now and this is possibly the first time some of you will have seen her!

Eleven has been keeping herself to herself. Trying to work out where she is, what's safe to eat and most importantly, how to use this phone device?

Switching the feed, Eleven's sat there in her gaudish shiny pink squad jacket (she's keeping it by the way! It's kinda cute plus it's warm!) It should be no surprise to anyone that tried to get to know her, to see that she's somewhere outside in the open, away from everyone and everything. The phone is floating as it broadcasts her, sitting there, crossed legged staring at the camera. ]

Can't find friends.

[ She shakes her head a little, a sad expression very clear on her face. ]

I've looked... Can't reach outside of cave...

[ A long moments pause as she took a slow look around. Never having been one for confined spaces, so this cave felt like it was closing in around her half the time. ]

Bad people are here. Everyone hurts. I don't want to hurt... Can I go now?

No, there's a way out. We just--just don't know what it is yet.

[George misses Mason from back home. and she misses Betty desperately. and sometimes, she even kind of misses Roxy and Daisy]

I'm trying to be a good person. I don't know if it always works, but at least now I'm trying.

[ Maybe El could find the way out? Maybe she could go into the Upsidedown and look for a route out? No, no, that was a really bad idea. So far, the Demogorgon hadn't shown it's vicious face. El didn't want to risk opening a gate here too. ]

How? How do you try?

[ Her voice sounded small, concerned. ]

I want to be good, too...

[yeah, opening a gate here would be a really, really bad idea. especially if it leads to a Demogorgon invasion]

People ask the gods, mostly. Some people do get out, I know they do, but they don't leave us the instructions behind. It sucks and it's not fair, but. That's how it is. Unfortunately.

[George is definitely concerned]

Yeah? Seems to me that you already are good.

[ For now, she'll just put that idea to the back of her mind. Maybe later though... Maybe later she might feel no other option. ]

It sucks...

[ She likes George, she copies people she likes when she speaks. She's still learning a lot of new words here. ]

No... Bad things happen... Because of-

[ Tapping her chest as she said that last part, her eyes heavy with sorrow. ]

[the gods can be hard to talk to and it's even harder to convince them of people's needs]

Yeah, it does. It really does.

[they'll have her cursing like a sailor in no time.

George watches Eleven condemn herself and gives her a concerned look] What's something you'd call a bad thing?

[ Honestly? El still struggles with the idea of the Gods in the first place. To her, they sound more like the bad men who kept her locked up in the Labs. ]

It sucks shit.

[ You can blame Richie and Eddie for that one! She's heard those boys curse plenty of times!

The question makes El pause for a moment in thought. ]

People with these.

[ Making a gun shape with her fingers, then looking guilty as she continues. ]

The Demogorgon...

[George has her issues with the gods, too. mostly that they all seem like jerks except for Fear. he was cool. but yeah, the gods would ping anyone with authority figure issues in the worst way.

she grins at Eleven] You are absolutely right about that.

[hey, George was using worse language than that at Eleven's age, she's not going to bat an eyelash at her swearing.

she waits for Eleven to feel comfortable enough to answer the question] People with guns? Yeah, that's usually a bad thing. But, what's a Demogorgon?

[ George's grin gets her a smile in return from Eleven. It was nice to be on the same page as someone else. ]

Yes. Bad men with guns.

[ And then came the question. Eleven looked guilty as hell, mixed in with a bit of fear too. She didn't want to talk about it, just in case that somehow made the thing appear. ]

Baaaad real bad. Monster... Kills, eats, everyone.

[yay, she got a smile! internal fist pump of celebration!]

That's a bad combination. Bad men plus guns usually equals trouble.

[uh-oh, did she step in it. that look implies she may have stepped in it]
