[ She's been here for, well, almost a whole month now and this is possibly the first time some of you will have seen her!

Eleven has been keeping herself to herself. Trying to work out where she is, what's safe to eat and most importantly, how to use this phone device?

Switching the feed, Eleven's sat there in her gaudish shiny pink squad jacket (she's keeping it by the way! It's kinda cute plus it's warm!) It should be no surprise to anyone that tried to get to know her, to see that she's somewhere outside in the open, away from everyone and everything. The phone is floating as it broadcasts her, sitting there, crossed legged staring at the camera. ]

Can't find friends.

[ She shakes her head a little, a sad expression very clear on her face. ]

I've looked... Can't reach outside of cave...

[ A long moments pause as she took a slow look around. Never having been one for confined spaces, so this cave felt like it was closing in around her half the time. ]

Bad people are here. Everyone hurts. I don't want to hurt... Can I go now?

[ She still can't help the initial joy, then sudden disappointment everytime she see's Richie's face here. Her expression probably showed those emotions too, for a split second at least. ]

Make new ones?

[ Eleven shook her head a little, her eyes full of curiosity. ]

I don't know how.

[It's the girl from before! Eddie had wondered if they'd been quiet or had managed to find a way home and here was the answer.

The topic is enough that Eddie looks a little guilty. He was lucky enough to come to Hadriel with his good friend right behind him. Often he forgets not everyone is in the same boat.]

Not everyone is bad or in pain though, I don't think so anyway. Are you okay?

[ She recognized Eddie too, gave him a very quick, very faint smile before looking away. When he spoke, she turned her attention back to the screen. ]

Really? I've seen a lot of bad things here.

[ People had been dying, getting killed, fighting monsters. It was all horrible. ]

Mhm. I'm okay, promise.

[ And there was that small smile again. ]

[Aren waves, sitting beside her mabari, who perks up at seeing Eleven again.]

Sorry about your friends; I can't find mine either, but I made some new ones. I bet you can, too. You already have Barkspawn and me. Right, boy? [Barkspawn barks and wiggles, always happy for friends.]

Are you okay? Are you staying with anyone?

[ Eleven raised a hand and waved too. Smiling when Barkspawn barked and wagged his tail. She liked animals, now that she didn't have to experiment on them. ]

I guess. Can I try?

[ Still very unsure about how to make friends. All Eleven did when she met the boys back home was hide in Mikes basement and bingo! Friends. It was different here. ]

I stay with Wash... Now and then..

[ other times, she sleeps out in whatever ruin she finds. Still doesn't feel very safe here. ]

[ Break his heart, why don't you? Wash is out of armor in the video, and looks a little worried. ]

[ It's what she does best, isn't it? No need to worry though, she always comes home in the end. ]

No one can reach outside of the cave. It sucks and it's not fair, but that's how it works.

But there are good people here, too? People who don't hurt? Maybe try sticking close to them?

[ She's still not found any. This place kinda sucks. ]

[ By this point, El's pretty much mastered the kicked puppy look just by sheer luck. She feels bad though, that she's not the only one who has lost all her friends. She'd never looked at it that way before. ]

[oh, my. it's that girl who accidentally exploded the can of fruit in Margaery's apartment]

No one can reach outside of the cave, I'm sorry to say.

Not everyone here is bad, I promise. There are some wonderful people, I promise.

[ She shakes her head. ]

No. Thought I saw Mike... Was someone else.

[ El's kind of heartbroken about that. Every time she see's Richie now, it hurts her chest a little. She doesn't quite understand why yet. ]

Promise? Friends never break a promise...

[ She wants to believe her, she really does! ]

[ Struggling, saying the name slowly, breaking it down to make sure she was pronouncing it right.

His offer was kind, he had a kind face, smile, and voice. El felt calm as he spoke to her. Which was a nice change when meeting a stranger. ]

[Mmm, he's not very good at these emotional talks. On the other hand, he's even worse at seeing a kid obviously in distress, and he grits his teeth a little before responding.]

How're you getting the thing to sit like that? Without using your hands. You balance it on somethin'?

[ Eleven frowned a little. Curious in their response. So far, most people tried to talk to her about friendship and how this place had good people in it too. It was kind of both refreshing and a bit scary, having someone ask about what she was doing. ]

No.

[ Making the phone move from side to side as she shook her head. El shrugged before moving the phone closer to where she was sitting. ]

Just can... I think it.

[ Tapping her temple. She's never had to explain it before, so forgive her terrible explanation. ]

[Her smile is gentle, nonthreatening, but there's melancholy behind it. This is, increasingly, a terrible place to be a child. It already was one.]

I still think there are many more good people here than bad ones. They'll all do what they can to look out for you.

[Irisviel keeps her voice soothing, keeping an uncertainties that she might have herself at bay. Eyes widening, she changes subjects.]

I like your jacket! Pink is such a cheery color. Does it say anything interesting on the back?

[ El was about to try and ask a few questions, working out the words to use made her hesitate- and then she was distracted by the compliment to her jacket.

She turned, twisted her middle trying to look. All the while, her phone device floated around her in mid-air, the camera feed now showing El from behind. ]

Don't think so? ... Is it pretty?

Ah child. I'm sorry you're trapped here. There's no escape, I fear - but if you would like some company, little one, would new friends help?

[ Their voice was kind, El found herself feeling warmed by it. She struggled to trust people, yet so many had replied to her video. ]

Want my friends. From home...

[ Chewing her lips, feeling bad for saying such a thing. New friends would be nice, she just didn't know they were so easy to make. ]

A lot of people don't have their friends from where they used to live. But it'll be okay, we can make new ones. I'll be your friend! [ He gives a warm grin. ]

And... at least it means your friends won't get hurt, right? 'Cause if they were here... well, bad stuff can happen here a lot. They're probably safer at home, right? [ As long as home isn't... worse, as it can be. His home was, sometimes.

He hopes that doesn't scare her - he isn't really used to watching out for things like that, honestly. ] But- But don't worry, it'll get better here. It's got to, 'kay?

[ Eleven was puzzled for a moment. He didn't even know her, yet here he was, offering to be her friend? Okay, so maybe there was a few good people here after all. ]

Yes... Safer at home...

[ She sighed, sorrow in her expression. She'd never thought about it like that before but without her there, the boys would be safer. It felt bittersweet. ]
