[ She's been here for, well, almost a whole month now and this is possibly the first time some of you will have seen her!

Eleven has been keeping herself to herself. Trying to work out where she is, what's safe to eat and most importantly, how to use this phone device?

Switching the feed, Eleven's sat there in her gaudish shiny pink squad jacket (she's keeping it by the way! It's kinda cute plus it's warm!) It should be no surprise to anyone that tried to get to know her, to see that she's somewhere outside in the open, away from everyone and everything. The phone is floating as it broadcasts her, sitting there, crossed legged staring at the camera. ]

Can't find friends.

[ She shakes her head a little, a sad expression very clear on her face. ]

I've looked... Can't reach outside of cave...

[ A long moments pause as she took a slow look around. Never having been one for confined spaces, so this cave felt like it was closing in around her half the time. ]

Bad people are here. Everyone hurts. I don't want to hurt... Can I go now?

Yeah, I've seen some really shit things, this place is the absolute worst, I know I didn't sign up to be stuck in a cave with no way out.

[ El isn't wrong in that definition; there is a lot of fighting or monsters around. The fact just about everyone seems to have trained to fight at a younger age than him has not gone unnoticed either and Eddie gives the smallest of exasperated smiles back. What can you do?]

There's good people here too though, we just see the bad because it's louder, no-one shouts about good things but something bad happens and everyone knows about it. My aunts say that about the news on tv.

I'm okay. Did you find a place to stay?

[ What was it with the boys here? They all said strange words she'd not heard before. ]

The bad is louder?

[ Hm, that gave her something to think on. He had a point. It was a point that, for a moment, made her consider the idea that she wasn't as bad as she thought she was. She was pretty quiet after all. A small smile was offered and stayed on her face as Eddie explained about his aunts. ]

Kind of? Been staying with Wash... Now and again.

Yeah you know, like really bad things.

[ Eddie has no idea that El is still learning words; swearing is normal to him and his set of friends by now, though if adults heard them there'd be hell to pay.]

Well, it is. Adults like to complain a lot so when bad things happen it gives them all something to talk about and then they make sure everyone knows about it. Something nice happens and people don't talk about it because they don't think it's as interesting. Adults are weird.

[ Now and again? That doesn't sound too good, enough that Eddie gives El as much of a quick look over that he can on the device. She looks okay so any mental images of someone starving in the cold are quickly shooed at.]
