[ She's been here for, well, almost a whole month now and this is possibly the first time some of you will have seen her!

Eleven has been keeping herself to herself. Trying to work out where she is, what's safe to eat and most importantly, how to use this phone device?

Switching the feed, Eleven's sat there in her gaudish shiny pink squad jacket (she's keeping it by the way! It's kinda cute plus it's warm!) It should be no surprise to anyone that tried to get to know her, to see that she's somewhere outside in the open, away from everyone and everything. The phone is floating as it broadcasts her, sitting there, crossed legged staring at the camera. ]

Can't find friends.

[ She shakes her head a little, a sad expression very clear on her face. ]

I've looked... Can't reach outside of cave...

[ A long moments pause as she took a slow look around. Never having been one for confined spaces, so this cave felt like it was closing in around her half the time. ]

Bad people are here. Everyone hurts. I don't want to hurt... Can I go now?

You should never feel bad for defending yourself.

[ He squeezes Eleven's hand as she ducks behind him, not happy with how cold her fingers are. He's been to the shops again since the last time she was home, though, and there are a few warmer clothing options in her room waiting for her to try on. They can do that later.

For now he glances back at Eleven and speaks to her gently, patiently. ]

Kyna's safe, I promise. She's been keeping me company lately while you're out exploring.

I wasn't.

[ Spoken rather coldly. It was true though, Eleven was angry, upset even, the monster just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. That's why she felt bad. Also, it never hurt to make yourself appear big and scary! Saying something like that, in front of this new woman would surely make her think that messing with El or Wash was a bad idea, right?

As the woman introduces herself and Wash makes an effort to clarify she's safe, Eleven stepped out from behind him. Looking her over a few times, with wide, wild, curious eyes. ]

Hi...

[ Holding out her hand, mostly to show her tattoo, that's how she introduced herself. A slight smile flickered at the corner of her mouth before vanishing. ]

Pretty.

[evocation]

[Kyna's eyes flick down to the tattoo. It's not as shocking as it could be, considering Wash mentioned it, but it's still an odd sight, and then Eleven's comment throws her off completely. She blinks.]

Me? Um... Thanks.

[It's sweet, just unexpected.]

Uh... What kind of monster did you kill, anyway?

[hardwearing]

[ Wash smiles a little, encouragingly, giving Eleven's hand another squeeze. Stepping forward and tugging the girl with him, towards the stove. ]

You've gotta wash up before dinner but maybe Kyna will let you try the sauce.

[ Eleven walks along with Wash, feeling safer when he squeezed her hand. She came to a stand before the slove looking over at the food bubbling away. It smelt delicious.

Turning to face Kyna again, El suddenly seemed a little excited as she answered her question. ]

Invisible one. Huge! Followed me around, so I stopped it. Big pointy bit at the back? Like a bug's face. Real nasty.

[ It was probably the most she had spoken to a stranger before, but having Wash encourage her and feeling no sense of danger from Kyna helped. ]

can I?

[ Looking back at the food as her little-starved tummy started to grumble. ]

[Kyna grabs the spoon she's been using to stir and scoops up some of the soup she's making, offering it over.]

Yeah, go for it. Don't get too excited, though. Wash only likes my cooking because he has bad taste.

[hardwearing]

Sounds awful. It should have known better than to follow you, though.

[ Now that she's rested, Wash is pretty sure most of the monsters within the cave are no match for Eleven. Maybe if a whole bunch attacked her at once, but. He'd still bet on the little girl. It's hard to think of her as a fighter right now, though, when she's acting just her age. And trusting him that all this is alright.

Kyna holds out the spoon and Wash tilts his head towards it. Go on, kiddo, try it. ]

Go for it. Then you can wash up, and get your present.
