Okay. I'm looking for someone to teach me how to fight. Fist-fighting, martial arts, swordfighting, guns, I don't care. I'm just sick of everyone else fighting my battles for me.

It's not 'bout here but it wasn't something I started a long time back. More of a thing from the weeks before I got kidnapped to this place.

...what made you decide to, y'know. Change?

[She sighs in frustration, trying to find a way to put it into words.] It started with revenge.

Revenge. That's a pretty big reason to change.

But not a very good one.

Was it against that thing you told me about? Better Living. . .something?

Better Livin' Industries. Yeah, they were the ones I wanted to destroy.

It sounded like they did a lot of stuff to have destruction coming.

They did. They ruined everything. But what they deserved was a lil' more complicated than that.

Then, what did they deserve?

I think some of 'em needed freedom too. Not everyone went with the company by choice.

So they were drafted?

Forced. Some by mind control. Some by the pills keepin' anyone from knowin' any better. Doesn't change what they did, but some people thought that changed what we should do.

...okay, those are definitely. Extenuating circumstances. Especially the mind control thing, that's really bad.
