I've been stuck in my rooms for three days. I don't have words for how incredibly bored I am. I may well go mad.

So! In the interests of getting to know some of you better, let's chat. I have a question to start things off. What is one thing you wish people could know about you without you having to tell them?

For example, I wish I didn't have to explain that I am royalty. It's a bit awkward, and sounds like bragging, when really it's just the fact of who I was born to. So I'd choose that - or the fact that I prefer red wines to white. Then no one would ever have to worry about serving me the wrong thing. Actually, that one might be even more convenient.

What about you? At least some of you must be just as bored as me.

The caves were quite interesting in their own way, as well. I think I like this a little better, too, though - having a real sky above me is nice.

What was your home like?

They weren't bad, but I cannot imagine how hard it might have been for people who has been here for years.

Hmm, my home is hot, dry, most of the time anyway. Though every now and then there was a bit of rain. Sand storms were quite usual. The sand wasn't as white as it is here, more like golden. Less water, even though I used to live next to a river. It was the main source of... pretty much everything.

What about yours?

We had a river as well. Beautiful, red, full of magic. It ran right by the palace. But we were further north than I believe you were - it rained often, and the temperatures were quite mild. The summers got warm, though.

[He's quiet for a moment, missing home.]

Nothing like this.

I know, it's not home.

「Oh buddy, he doesn't know if talking more about his home would make him feel better or worse but...」

A red river, though... 「There is the Red Sea but, it's not exactly red all along. 」 What kind of magic?

Just magic. The whole city was full of it - all of Arnes, really.

[It's nice to think of it, even when he's so far away.]

There were still people who were in need, of course, people who didn't have everything they needed, but we were happy, by and large.
