Video 5 - Sewing Shop

Hello, everyone! I wanted to let you know that the Sewing Shop is open for business. Please stop by if you need your garments mended or if you need something new that you can't find in the shops. I know how hard it is to find things that fit properly there.

I'm also available to give sewing lessons should you wish to learn! It's a very useful skill to have, especially here where anything can happen.

Then what am I to do? Just--accept what Cersei did to me and forgive her? I can't do that.

Unfortunately...? Yeah... I don't doubt she's going to get what she deserves after all the wrongs that she's done, the same goes to every person that's hurt you. But you don't... you shouldn't maim your soul nor blemish your heart with hate. Believe me, I've seen what it's able to do to a person. You'd be dooming yourself to oblivion. It's not worth it.

「He wishes he knew a way to channel that anger, alas, he doesn't. Maybe, just... talking would help.」

Forgive Cersei. [she says as though the idea is completely foreign to her] She murdered me along with my father, my little brother and at least a hundred other people. She's guilty of so much and seems to get away with all of it. I don't know if I can be at peace until I know she's paid for what she's done.

[talking about it helps. she's so used to putting on the pleasing, charming mask and concealing what she truly feels]

Cersei not only killed me, she had me imprisoned along with my brother. My brother because he lays with men and me because I lied to protect him.

「It takes him a moment to process all of what she says, and the more he hears, is no wonder why Margaery harbors those feelings inside her.」

I've been on... that side before, on the side of revenge and it wasn't entirely unjustified, no, but in the end, it didn't work in their favor. They... simply ended up destroying themselves with their own hate.

「He tries to give her a sympathetic look.」

No one can stop you if that's what you're set to do, Margaery, but... believe me when I tell you, it's not worth it. She will get what is coming to her, but, haven't you suffered enough?

[Cersei Lannister is an eternal thorn in Margaery's side, keeping her from fully enjoying anything]

I'm not in any danger of that as long as I'm here and she's there. If she were here. . . I don't know what I'd do.

Maybe you're not in danger as longs as she's not here but... she's all that's in your head, isn't she? Besides Matt... Am I wrong?

I know, but. . . Cersei has a certain cunning to her. She can appear completely harmless on the surface while inside, she's plotting ways to make others miserable.

[she knows all too well how good Cersei is at seeming like nothing more than just another noblewoman, how she feigns empathy and kindness while her soul is black and corrupted.

she stares at her hands, trying to come up with something to say that will reassure him that all is well, even if it isn't. old habits are hard to overcome]

She's not. Not all that's in my head. I have my yearning to see Matt. I have friends, like you.

「It is good to know how her mind works already, he's met people like that before, she shouldn't be a problem. It also shows how much Margaery feels absolutely betrayed, she couldn't even trust her instincts when it came to her in law.

Her answer is incredibly touching, it has Atem arching his eyebrows momentarily, even if he sees her struggle.」

「He doesn't exactly know what she's doing, but he can notice the way she looks at her hands, and he decides to risk it. He places his hand over hers.」

You don't have to be strong all the time.

「It is so rare to see her lose her temper, even laugh out loud, that is no way to live.」

[that's part of the problem. she knew how dangerous Cersei was. but she couldn't convince her husband of it and she couldn't convince the High Sparrow that they were all in danger before the Sept exploded. had he listened, they all would have had time to get to safety but instead, all of them are dead, including Margaery]

I'm--I'm not. I'm ambitious and vengeful and I went for years thinking of nothing but my own ambition to be Queen. A lot of good it did me in the end.

[she's startled, but not in a bad way, when he puts his hand on hers]

...I don't know how not to be. That wasn't how I was raised.

[she was raised to plot and scheme and hide it all behind a pleasant mask. here, there's nothing to plot or scheme about, but the mask remains]

Margaery. You've shown me anything but kindness, even when I mocked your world, you forgave me. You're a good person. Don't let the shadows of your past keep you in the dark.

「If she had shown him those parts of her without intending to, he feels even more so lucky.」

A good person. [she says, as though trying to words on for size] If I am, then no wonder why I died. Good people tend to not last long in Westeros.

[it was a complete accident, being so kind. but something about him brings it out in her]

「He'd be so honored to know that.」

I guess that happens everywhere... 「He trails off, It happened to his father, to his best friend, or, his best friends. He snaps out of it soon enough.」

I don't think I am the only one who thinks you're a good person either. There's Matt too.

「He finally moves away, he needs to let her work.」

Perhaps our worlds aren't so dissimilar? Perhaps none of ours are? [she remembers what Matt told her about his world, the criminals he had to fight on a nightly basis.

a small, sad smile] Yes. He was the first person to believe that I could be more. I don't want to let him down.
