Hello, everyone! I wanted to let you know that the Sewing Shop is open for business. Please stop by if you need your garments mended or if you need something new that you can't find in the shops. I know how hard it is to find things that fit properly there.

I'm also available to give sewing lessons should you wish to learn! It's a very useful skill to have, especially here where anything can happen.

[one of Marg's weaknesses is that she tends to hold grudges, but since the main person she held a grudge against killed her, she considers it safe to continue doing so]

[she looks up from a bolt of teal fabric she'd unwrapped on one of the sewing tables]

[ Margaery looks like she's doing a lot better -- Wash feels a little guilty he hasn't checked in on her for awhile, but didn't want their loneliness to feed off each other's and then he'd been. Busy. There's still a lot going on, but this seems like as good an opportunity as any to get back in touch. And his survival suit could use better patching than what he managed on his own. Maybe she could even make a spare? It wouldn't be the right materials but in a pinch he'd manage.

He doesn't reply to her post, instead opting to just show up. In plainclothes, obviously, since he can't really wear his armor without the suit he's about to give her. The little bell over the door chimes an announcement to his arrival as he peers into the shop. ]

[well, she's an expert at keeping up appearances. she's been trained from birth to do so. the truth is that she still misses Matt every day, but can't let herself appear to fall apart. and she would be able to make a spare suit as well as mend what he already has.

she looks up when the door chimes and smiles at Wash]

[ 'How are you doing?' shouldn't be a stumper, and yet he seems to falter at the question as he moves farther into the store, approaching her. If he's honest, the answer is sort of complicated. But he seems to realize he's taking too long to respond and just defaults to the polite response. She's probably just making small talk anyway, right? ]

Is there any furniture or...decorations, I guess, you'd like to have? It can be for your shop or for something else, doesn't matter. If not, though, I can figure out how to get that fabric.

Yeah, but not clothes. I want to make crutches for someone.

Good. [she gives him an impish smile] And don't forget, we need to lure Fingon in somehow. Any ideas?

With the Nolofinweans, I find straightforwardness sometimes works the best. [ He nods sagely ] I'll just ask him to come along.

[ On the same day that Margaery sends her a message, Dany arrives at the sewing shop, entering with her hands clasped at her front. ]

Thank you for this. It... will be nice to have some more clothes.

[she smiles at Dany when she enters the shop and goes toward her]

It was my pleasure. I hope that you like it.

[she gestures to the center dress form, wearing this dress]

I thought that white would be best for our current climate, though I can always try to obtain dye should you prefer another color.

Oh - [ It's very pretty. Dany has taken to black these days, as it is one of her House's colors, but... what Margaery has produced is soft. Lovely.

She smiles hesitantly, reaching out to brush her fingers along its edges. ]

No, this is more than enough. Thank you. [ As the other woman has said, white is likely better for the heat, anyway. Her current black garb absorbs it all in the worst way. ] How can I repay you?

Yes, I did. This one is based on a gown I loved back home. And fortunately, I had the education necessary to be able to do so. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't.

[Kravitz nods approvingly, looking it over like he has any expertise in sewing at all. He does not.]

Education is very important. I imagine you'll find much success putting these skills to use. I can think of several people I know who may be interested.
