And that's how you play Duel Monsters. There are thousands of different cards out there and so many strategies one can come up with, you'll never find a deck alike another and one sole strategy will not fit them all, but that's what makes it interesting.

Back home, we were able to summon monsters into the real world with the use of magic, these monsters were sealed in stone slabs. We used them to defend our country from invaders or other dangers. Millennia after my passing, a man named Maximillion Pegasus created the game, basing his ideas in the hieroglyphs and carvings on the stones he found in what was left of our temples. And when I was awoken into the modern world, destiny guided me back somehow to the game. I was good at it. Like, really good.

So... you could say that's how I first learned the game, back home. I guess my connection to the ancient spirits represented in the cards made it easier for me, I don't know, it was familiar to me somehow, even if for a while, I couldn't remember why.

Really! So you wouldn't necessarily have to field an army to fight your battles? At the same time, those monsters must have been incredibly precious. And is that why you were awoken when you were? Because Maximillion Pegasus came to your temples and found the hieroglyphs and carvings? It would make sense that you were good at the game. It was based on your home's symbols and monsters.

she nods] Your friend sounds wise. And very determined! And, I shall. Both here and when I'm allowed to go to Matt's world. Here is a trial because one never knows what the so-called gods will put us through next. And Matt's world will be an adjustment because of so much technology and knowledge that I don't have and will have to learn. But I must remain confident in myself.

[perhaps that's what sets the great kings apart from the good or average kings. the ability to let to of oneself for the greater good. if you asked her, Margaery wouldn't be able to name a king who truly did that since Jaehaerys, First of His Name, and the Good Queen Alysanne]

Technology can be surprisingly easy to learn from my experience. We didn't have any of that back home, and sure, it was surprising when I first but eventually... I mean, look at you, you learned how to use the cellphone just fine.

After much trial and error, yes. I was helped by having Matt there. He was blind and I was ignorant but betwixt the two of us, we were able to teach me how the phones work. And I'm sure that I'll be able to adjust to his world, given some time and patience.

This place lacks of a lot of things, but you could say a lot of what's found here might be able to be found in Matt's world too. If it was anything like mine too.

Ah, but not the crowds of New York City. Matt told me that it holds millions of people. King's Landing holds only half a million and even there, it seemed as though people were stacked upon other people. And I suppose I'll need to find some kind of job.

Not really. He usually used cabs. The subway was too noisy and smelly and, well. Matt's blind. He can't drive, so he never told me much about traffic.

Heavy traffic is just when vehicles get so cramped and can't move forward. It is just as noisy and smelly as the subway, just, on the surface. But with a bike, I'd assume you can make your way through cars and get faster where you need to be.
