Video 7 - Sewing Shop

[the video opens on Margaery in the Sewing Shop, dressed of course to impress and show off her work. what is unusual is that she's holding a sword in her lap and that the Shop looks like it's been scrubbed from ceiling to floor and everything in between.

what may also be unusal to those who can notice such things, there have been magical wards placed around the Shop to deter violence and keep certain types of beings out.

Margaery smiles welcomingly at the camera, although those who know her well enough can tell that it's a little forced]

Hello, everyone! The Sewing Shop is open again to attend to your needs. Can you not find what you're looking for in the shops? Or are you just plain sick of wearing the same things day in, day out? Come in and request whatever you need. The only payment I require is a bolt of fabric from Tranquility.

I also give sewing lessons to those who wish to learn.

I have what you requested ready for you to pick up at any time. I hope to see you soon.

One day, you will see Matt again.

[she looks into his eyes and smiles sadly]

I hope so. It's what has kept me going, these past few months.

[bythewaves]

I wish I could assure you! But if there is any way, Margaery, I will see you with him again.

[roseofthetyrells]

[she stares at him wide-eyed]

Truly? It would mean travelling to Earth.

[bythewaves]

[ He smiles back at her ]

Mind, I am not saying I would stay. But I would see you home, back to him.

[roseofthetyrells]

[she smiles gratefully]

I would be eternally in your debt. Thank you.

[she goes in for a hug]

[bythewaves]

[ He startles at the hug, surprised, but then his arms come up in answer ]

You owe me nothing. [ He says fervently ]

Nothing more than your happiness.

[roseofthetyrells]

[she squeezes him tightly]

I hope it's out there.

[bythewaves]

It is. I believe it is - you deserve to be happy again, Margaery.

[roseofthetyrells]

I would like to believe it will happen. It's hard sometimes.

[bythewaves]

It can be. [ He sighs ] It all too often is.

I will believe for you, until you can again.

[roseofthetyrells]

I just worry, will he even remember me? After so long apart?

[a watery laugh] You'll likely be believing for a long time.

[bythewaves]

I am sure he will. Who could forget such a bright soul as you?

[ He squeezes her hands ]

I have time. [ He says wryly ] And I am used to being patient!

[roseofthetyrells]

[she bites her lip and looks down]

Time. It's been such a long time. Perhaps he thinks I've forgotten?

[she squeezes back]

I suppose you'd have to be?

[bythewaves]

Perhaps - but we do not know how time passes on our own worlds, as compared to this. Perhaps it has been a long time, perhaps it is only the moment between one breath and another! I do not doubt that he remembers you still, either way.

[ He grins a little wryly ]

Essentially, yes.

[roseofthetyrells]

May you be right, that the time passed is short and that our time together may be long.

[she gives a wry smile in return]

Patience has never been one of my virtues.

[bythewaves]

[ He laughs softly ]

I think I have a slight advantage, in that area!

[roseofthetyrells]

You would have to, wouldn't you! I can't imagine living a hundred years, much less a thousand or more.

[bythewaves]

It is what we are made for, as you are not!

[ He smiles ]

It was, in many ways, why no one was surprised when Elros chose mortality, except maybe Elrond, and even then, I think it was hard to truly surprise that one. He just didn't want to believe that his brother would leave him.

[roseofthetyrells]

No one ever wants to believe that their brother will leave them. I still miss Loras every day.

[bythewaves]

Even so.

[ He agrees wistfully ]

I do hope you get to see them here. Tis a cruel fate to have kin so abruptly parted.

[roseofthetyrells]

Yes. I told Loras to stay with me. I don't know why the Door took me and not both of us.

[bythewaves]

Who can tell? The Door will do as it will, I fear. But there remains yet hope for the future.

[roseofthetyrells]

Hope that Loras will join me someday. Somewhere he can love openly and without fear. [she laughs briefly] Though, he never showed much fear in loving even in Westeros. I warned him to be more. . . discreet, but he never listened.

[bythewaves]

Sometimes, folk are reckless for love - if he comes, you should ask him to speak to Fingon! Truly he earned his title of Valiant, and that deed he did for love.
