[ Eleanor hadn't been in the underground City for long. It only felt like a few weeks at most, still, she was struggling to find her feet. Having yet to claim any accommodation for herself, sleeping rough in whatever abandoned building she stumbled upon. She was a slim girl, tall for her age and with a mind well beyond it too! Snacking on whatever cans and dried meats she could find, she'd managed to keep herself alive at least.
The building she'd been staying in had become dangerously waterlogged, well, dangerous for anyone else that was. Eleanor was well equipt for life underwater, her suit kept her dry for the most part and the huge, domed helmet had a valve in it, making it easy to breathe naturally while submerged. Not thinking to look through the contacts, she'd never seen a phone like this before after all. No, she was more interested in using the screen as a light. It especially lit up when she pressed [REC◉]? ]
Alright, that should about do it, I think. Though, I should think it rather silly to be so hopeful... Sigh~
[ Standing up, the camera feed filming the floor rather than her face. Eleanor had made a small doll out of scraps of fabric, rope and one of those creepy finger puppet heads, she'd left it propped up against a glass container filled with a strange, forigen, red fluid. A chicken scrawl message written in monster blood and a few doodles of the sun. The message read- ]
[ Her voice was well spoken, with a kind of posh hint to it. English perhaps? She flipped the phone over, showing the green glowing portlight-like window of her helmet. A little battle damaged by now. Fumbling with her phone as she tried to turn it off. ]
Not at all like the mechanical audio diaries I remember. I wonder... Are you too, made of bits and bobs? Shall I take you apart and find out?
