Okay, I guess I'm a little overdue for this-

My name is Quentin Coldwater. I'm a magician. I used to teach at Brakebills, and for a while, I lived in Fillory. I've got a pretty good grounding in physics and mathematics, and interuniversal travel. Normally I would consider myself able to claw my way out of this shit, but no dice this time.

Is there anyone here who knows anything about any or all of the above?

I know nothing about any of the subjects you mentioned, but there was an attempt made to examine the Door early in my time here. The group only made so much headway, if I remember aright, but what they found was made public.

Yes. You may not be able to access it from your device, but the information may well be up on the newcomer’s guide by now.

This occurred about ten months ago- not long after the Null first contacted us. I do not think the original author remained for long afterwards, but some of the people who went into the caves with her are still here.

You could also try to pry details out of Sorrow and Fear, of course. If they’re at all willing to trade for information, though, there will be a price. A steep one, probably.

I hope you find a use for it.

They ask for something related to the emotion they are tied to. Usually, it’s a favor of some kind: give someone joy, for example, or frighten them.
