[the video opens on Margaery sitting neatly in a chair, wearing one of her usual gowns with her sword sitting on her lap. for those with practiced eyes or those who know Margaery well, they will be able to tell that her smile is still strained and not entirely meeting her eyes, but it's still bright and beautiful just the same]

Hello, everyone! I wanted to remind you that the Sewing Shop is open and ready for business here on the North Island. I can make a wide variety of clothing or embellish that which you already have. You have only to ask.

The only price is that you have to obtain a bolt of fabric from Tranquility in exchange. All manners of fabric are welcome as are all colors.

One of your friends, Party Poison, has approached me about making clothing for all of you. He's already paid in advance, so all you need to do is come over so I can take your measurements and talk to you about what you would like to have.

Yes, we can keep each other company. I can think of none here I'd rather spend the time with.

Even so! Thank you, Margaery - I feel the same.

[she wants to hug him desperately, but is unsure of how it would be taken]

Even with your kin here? I am the one you wish to spend time with?

[bythewaves]

[ he would love a hug but alas, is far too proper to initiate ]

My kin are here, tis true. But you are just as dear as they, and we know our time will be limited.

[roseofthetyrells]

[you know what? forget propriety. she's going in for a hug]

I wish it weren't. I wish we could be together forever.

[bythewaves]

[ He startles, but only for a moment, and then he wraps his arms around her and pulls her close ]

I would that too, Margaery. But even were we going to the same world, the final fate of Men and Elves has always laid apart. We would be parted sooner or later.

[roseofthetyrells]

[she squeezes him tightly against her, her head resting against his chest]

Then let it be later and let us make the most of the time we have.

[bythewaves]

[ He shyly reaches up to card through her hair ]

Living in the now, eh? Wise advice. Elros would have loved you, I think.

[roseofthetyrells]

[she smiles against his chest, relaxing into the feeling of his hand running through her hair]

I'm trying to. But may I ask who Elros is?

[bythewaves]

[ He's being terribly forward, but he figures she doesn't mind! ]

Elros was one of my fosterlings, a long time ago. He was peredhel, half-elven. But when he was grown the choice was offered to him, to follow the fates of Men or of Elves. His twin, Elrond, chose the Elves. But Elros had always wanted adventure - he chose to become mortal.

[no, she doesn't mind one bit]

I'm not sure I could have made such a choice, especially knowing what my brother'd decision was.

[bythewaves]

[ EXCELLENT he'll keep going then ]

Everyone was surprised I think. But on reflection, I honestly don't see how they could have chosen differently. They were so close, as children, but Elros always felt more mortal. There was just something about him.

[roseofthetyrells]

[PLEASE DO]

...may I ask how feeling more mortal feels like?

[bythewaves]

[ He frowns thoughtfully ]

I don't know if it's anything that can be explained, truly. But there was always something... not entirely elven about both of them, but it was stronger in Elros. Something about the way he dealt with life in general. It hurt, when I knew what he had chosen. But it didn't really surprise me.

[roseofthetyrells]

[she sighs softly]

At least it wasn't truly a surprise. Better to know and prepare yourself than be taken by surprise.

[bythewaves]

Mm. [ He smiles a little sadly ]

Pity Elrond more than I! Elros was the one constant in his life for so very long, and then he was gone. He was always foresighted, was Elrond. But that still must have hurt.

[roseofthetyrells]

I never knew Elrond while he was here, but I know that Sansa thought very highly of him. [and she sighs] And it does hurt to lose a brother. Every month, I hope that the Door will bring Loras back to me and every month, I'm disappointed.

[bythewaves]

I will introduce you, if ever we have the chance again. [ He promises ]

It is never easy to lose a brother. [ He agrees sadly ] I pray that if any would hear me that Loras will return to you.

[roseofthetyrells]

I would like that very much. Thank you.

As do I. But there shall be no prayers to the gods of this place. I do not think they listen.

[bythewaves]

I am very certain they do not. [ He says wryly ]

Not unless it suits their purposes.

[roseofthetyrells]

No, indeed. If it would torment me somehow, I'm sure that Loras would already be here. But it wouldn't be a torment, it would be a blessing and so he is not.

[bythewaves]

Even so. [ Maglor sighs softly ]

All they care about is that they are fed, never minding the pain it inflicts us with.

[roseofthetyrells]

Indeed. And I for one am thoroughly sick of being subject to their whims, but apparently they aren't finished with me yet.

[bythewaves]

I doubt they are finished with any of us!

[ He shrugs ]

Starvation is a hard way to go. [ He says with terrible, soft knowing ] I cannot blame them for their desperation, only their unwillingness to look beyond themselves. There are many who would have freely given, if they had only asked.
