And you're hypothetically lookin' to get'em a little somethin' now that you're uh, back together again. Just a little present, like, nothin' special, j-just somethin' nice t'show y'love'em.

Your hypothetical significant other also already has everythin'. And they're magic.

[Barry hasn't gotten any answers yet, and he already looks demoralized.]

[Finally, someone here gets it!] Any particular recipes y'have in mind? She's the chef around here so I uh, I'd wanna try somethin' she wouldn't expect.

Well... [ Faith isn't a chef. She's capable in the kitchen, sure, and can whip something up with few ingredients that is edible but that requires some knowledge of the ingredients. If she wanted to be fancy, she might follow a recipe in a book but she hasn't seen any recipe books.

She could make hot cocoa from memory and she'd learned... Oh! ] Does she enjoy desserts? A berry crisp is a simple thing to make and doesn't require too many ingredients, either. [ Since this place seems to be lacking in... a lot of usual home comforts. ]

[Barry looks - and feels - like he's hit jackpot. Lup is extraordinary in the kitchen, always trying to outdo herself with complicated recipes and wild combinations of flavors and textures. Something simple and sweet, homemade, made with handpicked berries... She'd never expect it.]

[ Faith beams. She's not certain what sorts of things are available but she's glad to have been of assistance. ] I like to use a variety of berries; usually a mix of huckleberries, raspberries, and blackberries. You can't go wrong with a single berry, though. A sweet strawberry crisp would be delicious, too.
