002 [Video]
[Aside from having a new--or maybe not new, but different--hat that may have suffered a little bedazzling, Connor looks pretty much the same as last time he spoke on the network. He has something somewhat less abstract to talk about this time, but it's even more serious.]
Although the Clinic is well-suited to the needs of many here, and that's a great accomplishment in this situation, it's unable to provide assistance to a portion of the population that needs non-standard medical treatment.
[Mostly, as far as he knows, that's a problem for individuals who might be mechanically-based, although he isn't ruling out that there might be other types of beings he doesn't know about who also can't be helped with standard medical treatment. So he's being general right now, trying to account for everyone, which also helps in keeping things vague as far as individual people and what they might need.]
Because worlds vary, finding those with the skills they need to help these people might be difficult, but at the very least we can make sure those who can't go to the Clinic have the basic supplies necessary to take care of themselves. But again, because worlds vary, we won't know what all those supplies are unless we compile a list. I know there's an option on these phones to hold private conversations, if anyone may be concerned about giving specifics information about themselves, so supplies on the list can be added mostly anonymously.
[With any luck that means he can add some things to the list himself and no one will know who they're for. He'd like to avoid ending up in a situation in which he bleeds to death from an otherwise treatable injury just because there's no thirium available here.]
Additionally, since necessary items are likely to require making arrangements with the gods, if anyone is willing to help with that please let me know.

And then there's the issue of what Nick says about trying not to get too complicated with things, because Connor is suddenly stricken with the thought that maybe, even if he does go through with asking the gods for biocomponents in the case of an emergency, it won't be possible for them to make them. If something happens and he's seriously damaged, he might just be out of luck.
Fear is one of the emotions he's pretty familiar with and able to recognize, but it's also one of the more difficult ones to control, so it takes a moment before he can remind himself that this is a future problem that he can focus on fixing right now. There's no need to let himself get too stressed just yet.]
Do you think they could replicate something that already exists here?
[He is absolutely not asking for any personal reason, not at all. And all that aside, if Rey already has a list of things Nick might need then that'll be helpful in that regard.]

[Beggars can't be choosers, and they do what they have to do to survive, same as anyone. The way Connor asks that, and something in the timbre of his voice, says that there's more to this than just getting information on non-standard medical treatment.]
But it might all come down to what it is you're asking them to make.

Great, now he's scared and angry.
He takes another several seconds before responding, both to calm down again and to decide what he wants to say. He's already decided he would tell Nick the truth, so there's no reason to lie about what he's worried about.]
Biocomponents are extremely complex, and 'close' will not work.
[Downside to be a fancy prototype and all; he needs exact matches, for the most part, and even if he didn't the components are complicated and a non-exact match usually doesn't work. He's quickly--maybe too quickly, considering he hasn't explored options yet--resigning himself to focusing on getting some replacement thirium, and accepting that if he has no options if he takes serious damage to a biocomponent.]

Biocomponents?
[This isn't the first time he's heard of such things. Given who he lives with and some of the people he's met, as well as the Gen 3 synths of the Commonwealth, the concept isn't entirely foreign to him. Applying it to Connor, though—]
For someone else? Or for you?
[It could be the former, but hell, it's not like he hasn't been fooled by a synth hiding in plain sight before. His world isn't the only one where they can pass for downright human.]

The vital components for an android in my world. As with human organs, some biocomponents are necessary for life, while others are not.
[And fortunately, he can live without most of them, although losing the ability to hear or something would be very inconvenient. But for two, any serious damage would likely be fatal, and if he already had replacements he'd have a good chance of surviving long enough to swap them out but if they had to be requested at the time...
But refocusing on what he's actually saying, and on Nick's other questions--]
For me, for now.
[That might change if another android from his world shows up in the future, but their components would likely not be compatible with his and so he can only really do anything about his own issue right now.
And okay, that all out of the bag now, he feels like he should add--]
I'm sorry I didn't tell you, before.
[About what he is and all. He had reason and doesn't think he made the wrong decision or anything, but he still feels a bit guilty about hiding it.]
