002 [Video]
[Aside from having a new--or maybe not new, but different--hat that may have suffered a little bedazzling, Connor looks pretty much the same as last time he spoke on the network. He has something somewhat less abstract to talk about this time, but it's even more serious.]
Although the Clinic is well-suited to the needs of many here, and that's a great accomplishment in this situation, it's unable to provide assistance to a portion of the population that needs non-standard medical treatment.
[Mostly, as far as he knows, that's a problem for individuals who might be mechanically-based, although he isn't ruling out that there might be other types of beings he doesn't know about who also can't be helped with standard medical treatment. So he's being general right now, trying to account for everyone, which also helps in keeping things vague as far as individual people and what they might need.]
Because worlds vary, finding those with the skills they need to help these people might be difficult, but at the very least we can make sure those who can't go to the Clinic have the basic supplies necessary to take care of themselves. But again, because worlds vary, we won't know what all those supplies are unless we compile a list. I know there's an option on these phones to hold private conversations, if anyone may be concerned about giving specifics information about themselves, so supplies on the list can be added mostly anonymously.
[With any luck that means he can add some things to the list himself and no one will know who they're for. He'd like to avoid ending up in a situation in which he bleeds to death from an otherwise treatable injury just because there's no thirium available here.]
Additionally, since necessary items are likely to require making arrangements with the gods, if anyone is willing to help with that please let me know.

thats something i can agree on
the last monster that came through the door damaged one of my friends and he doesnt have many options
so i do appreciate what youre doing
「Now without the not so obvious sass on his text.」
text.
Is it serious?
[Whatever is wrong with Atem's friend. He doesn't want to pry--or, well, he does, but he doesn't think that'd be a good choice--but he is immediately a bit concerned, especially since he knows several of the non-organic people here and so it might be someone he's familiar with.]
text.
im afraid i dont know for sure
「Which is rather upsetting on its own. Nick tried to make it look as if it was nothing and that it could be fixed, but that's not how rust works. There is hope that he will at least ask for the parts he needs while he waits for Rey to come back and make the repairs.」
text.
Could you make sure that whoever it might be is aware that they can contact me or Alphys if they need further help?
[That's about the most that can be done for now, unfortunately.]
text.
「Oh? Just another hint. Thanks, man. Though it does not necessarily mean anything either, maybe he's just one big nerd.」
are you a synths doctor?
text.
No, but I'm familiar with the technology in my world, including the mechanical-based species there. Repairs are not my area of expertise, but I can handle the basics.
[That's... Actually true, just leaving out some info. He's aware his knowledge won't necessarily carry over with the world differences, but it seems like anything is better than nothing here.]
text.
i think my friend might need something more than just the basics
but thanks for the offer
「He, again, doesn't know for sure, but he cannot recommend Nick this guy he barely knows if that is all he knows, right? It's only fair.」
text.
We may not have the same idea of what constitutes 'basics'.
[Connor's aware there might be some more advanced mechanical individuals here than those he's met, but for now he's pretty sure he's the most technologically complex one he's aware of. That means he doubts anyone else could help him much with anything serious, but he's not so sure the reverse is true.]
text.
then show me
text.
How exactly do you suggest I do that?
text.
idk
why dont you try explaining
text.
I've already explained the situation in my world. The technology there is a lot more advanced than most of what I've seen here.
text.
ill let him know
「It comes delayed, he usually doesn't do this, be so mistrustful, he prefers giving people the benefit of the doubt — but this place has been... hard.」
text.
Thank you.
