[Pratt is sitting on the lower bunk of his tiny-house, part of his machine gun visible to the side and a wood plank wall behind him. He's wearing his deputy outfit again, his hair in neat braids thanks to Kettara.]

Before this whole talk of moving I was starting to set up a target range because I'm getting rusty. Figured since we have a lot of people who are experienced with firearms, arrows, knives, whatever, that I'd set it up so anyone can use it.

I've made a few spinner targets and I found a few wooden target dummies near the Colosseum but they're in rough shape so they need some clean up. I was working on a skeet shooter, but my plan to use a motor from a moped didn't work since they're electric and full of pointless plastic crap instead of useful gearbelts.

[He shakes his head, frowning at broadcasting his failure to everyone. He hadn't meant to say that.]

That's not the point.

Since we're apparently being shuffled to the next livestock pasture for us, I'm going to hold off setting it up until we're there.

What else would you guys like? Anyone need something to stand up to a crossbow? Or more intricate for throwing stars? And this shouldn't be a problem here, but I'm preemptively letting you know that there's no flamethrowers allowed at my range.

[He narrows his eyes at the screen before shutting off the feed. He definitely looks like he's adding that caveat because he's encountered that problem before.]

I was going to ask if you'd checked the Null parts at the lab for the stuff you'd need to build a skeet shooter, but now I kind of wanna see if I can build a flamethrower. Couldn't be that hard.

They're not that hard, I saw someone back home make one out of a softball bat and lawnmower parts.

Fine, solid compromise I suppose. Though what are you planning on doing with a flamethrower?

Really. This might not be so challenging after all. Finding fuel for it might be tricky, though.

Probably just hang onto it just in case there's another weird monster outbreak. I'm not really a weapon guy, usually.

When you live in the middle of nowhere you have to be inventive.

Just don't ignite yourself. We have a few cops here, but no EMT's as far as I'm aware.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna set myself on fire. Even if I did, I think I'd be okay. All of my roommates work at the clinic. Last time I came home hurt, they were on top of it as soon as I came in the door.

I literally did nothing. I just- okay, you know that frozen lady that everyone was losing their minds about a couple weeks ago? Yeah, she came at me, but it's like not even a thing. She's ice and I have a cool scar now. Everybody wins.

I think she thought it was fun. Fortunately just knocked me into a ditch and didn't splatter my entrails everywhere.

That sword is poisoned somehow. I saw her kill a monster with it and the thing disintegrated.

How long ago was all this? I mean, it couldn't have been that long ago, you got here the same time I did.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little freaked out now. You think it can do that to people, too? Like, normal people?

The first time she did it was the day I arrived. I was sitting on the ground getting my gun together.

And the other time was right before they chopped down the orchard and I was just minding my own damn business eating an apple.

I have no idea, I'm not sure what the stuff on her blade is, but I would assume so.

Well don't go and start because I'm not sure that's something the clinic is set to handle.

Maybe she ran out of whatever she soaks the blade in. Who knows. We should shatter her into a million pieces while she's frozen.

I kinda feel like she just doesn't like anyone. And I don't think there's anything here that could just turn a person into dust, so I think we're good there.

That's gross. And also pointless, Hope would just slap her back together like nothing happened. And also, isn't she like, missing?

Yeah, that could have gone a lot worse. I've had my fill of zombies, I don't know that her sword would make zombies though? We'd probably have a lot of zombies running around if that was the case.
