So, ah.
Would anyone care to come visit? I can offer a much more...ah, intimate way to get warm. I'm sure you'd know I'm a most gracious host.

He hands the wine over happily, unsure of himself but not wanting to leave. He would have let Ianchus put his whole hand inside if he'd wanted to.
But he still remembers how he looked when he was dying. And that's a memory that's never left him.] This really is lovely. I suffer without good company.

People here keep to themselves, and while I can respect that, ah. I'm a social beast. And even those I do socialize with... [...as much as he absolutely adores them...] Well, their hands are the problem, you can imagine. I simply wither without the touch of another.
[Which is what makes Tyki delightful.]

I'm fine either way, honestly. Touch is lovely, but I don't crave it. When I have it though, it's addictive. It's being a part of a person, for a short time. The intimacy is powerful, so I understand why some would avoid it. For some, that's frightening.

Being without touch is like having a fine wine, and none to share it with. One languishes in self-wrought misery. [And he raises a glass to Tyki. Glad, he is, to find a comrade here.]

Then he raises his own glass, appreciatively. This is good. This is real company, someone who's good enough to waste time doing little with. ] We've got wine and touch, so we'll be alright I think.

It doesn't hurt? To, ah. Keep things inside you. Pull them out. Have someone else... [He lifts his hands, wiggling his fingers. As long as Tyki's not uncomfortable speaking about him, then he's definitely curious.]

A rush. Ah, I imagine it would be. [He shifts with interest, rubbing his lower lip. When he speaks, his words are a little slower:]
What of the other way around? When you...do what you do. [What he saw Tyki doing, in that accidental moment.]

[He can't stop the grin that breaks over his mouth, as if he's said something arousing and scandalous. He takes a moment to collect himself, then tilts his head at Tyki, slight concern tinging his expression, though his hand is still hovering near his mouth.]
I apologize. Is this an unpleasant topic?

[Ah, but he understands that worry, doesn't he. He nods, moving to fill Tyki's glass again--the red, this time.]
I understand that. I won't talk to anyone about what we talked about. So...be at ease.
[His voice lowers slightly, that mysterious smile still there.]
I understand plenty about dark tendencies. I shan't judge. I promise.

Judging oneself...ah. It's difficult, isn't it? When all you want is to be close to people, but you fear destroying them.
[Melodramatic? Ah, maybe. He'd never said he was anything else.]
no subject
Tyki nods, working on another long sip of wine.] It's hard when you enjoy causing harm. I'm not a particularly cruel person. But in the act, when it happens, the rush is incredible.
no subject
Ah. You enjoy hurting people?
[It's not at all accusatory. Just curious. Overwhelmingly curious.]
