Audio; Backdated to the 13th, Pre-Explosion

Hey. This is Yvry, not that that means shit to most of you. Anyway, a while back me and Deputy Pratt had this idea for an audio guide. More topics than just the newbie guide, but in short bursts.

Basically, something that'll keep you from having to read the entire network history, and isn't long and boring.

Anyway, here's that guide. It's mostly for new people, but I don't care who downloads it. If you've got any ideas for new topics, corrections, whatever else, I'm all ears.

Oh, and can we get one of you flying-types to go up and take a picture of the city from above? We need an accurate map, and go fuckin' figure, there's no satellites around here. Thanks.

( You know, Kate's not even sure if that's the weirdest thing she's heard about a person's homeworld any more. )

1. Sounds about right.

3. Was incomplete without those pieces. Power couldn't be controlled properly. Happens to powers in my world sometimes. Body doesn't produce enough stabilisers and the individual loses the ability to control how their powers work. Except in this case, it's an external object.

That figures. So if it was unstable, were there any side effects or stranger than usual activity?

Aye. Thing brought in all sorts of people for a week or so, I heard.

( Sometimes, in the course of life, you nearly kill yourself in experiments and have to pass out for a week. NBD. )

As opposed to what it normally brings in?

Aye. Wasn't awake for that time. Sounds like it was similar to when the gods tried to play with the Door the first time.

We got people but no monsters. Lots more people. Turned up for a while and disappeared. Think people met themselves, too. Door doesn't normally do that.
