(She won't be the first or the last to deal with this, most likely. The heat of the jungle has overwhelmed the Northern lady and she is having to rest - thus it's understandable that her voice is weak.)

I have never felt so...faint. The heat is incredibly oppressive. I feel as if I can't breathe or think.

(Pausing to take a drink of water, she swallows with some difficulty.)

Is there a...remedy?

[He doesn’t like it either. The only place he’s ever known heat anything like this was on that planet where the city was located when he first rode into it.]

Take a bath. Or ask Daenerys. It’s hot enough where she lived in Essos.

Can you borrow a dress from Margaery?

I'm wearing more...modern...fashions. (Meaning she is embarrassed enough walking about with so much skin showing.) Lady Tinya said she would help me find or stitch cooler attire.

(Right now, she is in her shift with her plentiful hair bound in a simple ponytail.)

How do you stand it?

Lighter clothing, and less of it.

I was always cold at the Wall, and we always ate hearty meals and drank hot wine to warm us.

Now I don’t eat hearty meals or drink anything hot.

Could always take a dunk in the river. Only a temporary relief, but hear it helps. Maybe petition the gods for air conditioning units in people's homes, or get fans.

[Rey isn't much help to anyone but herself on this planet. Being able to control her own body heat, the temperature doesn't really bother her much and never has.]

I fear what is in the water. (But if this keeps up, she will take the risk and dunk herself fully clothed!) I would bother them...for another. I think I will adapt.

Well, you're not wrong to worry about that...

[Rey was the one who told Sansa about bacteria, after all, wasn't she? Oops. Being immune to sickness and disease, she's never had to worry about that stuff, but she's aware of human limitations, having believed herself to be one on numerous occasions after repeated memory wipes.]

If anything you can always take a cold bath or shower. Wrapping yourself in a cool cloth in front of a fan works, too. A temporary fix, but better than nothing.

Light, loose, non-restrictive clothing. Don't overexert. Drink plenty of water. If you know anyone with a decent working fridge that has ice in it, wrap some in a towel and apply it to the back of the neck.

I can't stress enough not to overexert. Heat stroke can kill even a powerful person who doesn't sit their ass down when they need to.

If you feel faint or you stop sweating, come to the clinic immediately. I can reverse heat stroke before it becomes deadly.

There is none. We're all doomed to melt like ice in the summertime.

[He's never been anywhere this warm in his life either, but it's better for his sore bones then the bitter cold of the ice planet had been. He's wearing a lot less layers then usual, which means much to his chagrin that he can't hide his knives as easily as he would like.]

[No he doesn't. He's a terrible annoyance and he knows it.]

You can always sit in a bathtub full of cold water. That might preserve you well.

Keep drinking, Sansa. Having fans help.

[Of course, when Kelson had been exposed to such heat in Torenth, he had actually people fanning him. There didn't seem to be any lining up for such duty here though.]

Try and rest through the worst of it. Take a cold bath, the water will help.

(The layers don't help and skirts are just a menace unless they are short.)

[Kelson should have paid more attention to the styles they had in Torenth, how they kept cool. But he was too busy with a new king being crowned, avoiding assassination attempts and chasing down traitors and murderers.]

Do try and keep cool. I would think that bathing in ice might not be so pleasant though.

Are you so unaccustomed to heat? I thought you all just sort of- adjusted. To an extent.

[He clears his throat, aware suddenly of how he's maybe being just a lil rude.]

I've heard that, uh, eating something cold can help. Ice cream, frozen fruit slices- even chewing ice, as unappetizing as that sounds.

I am accustomed to wearing layers and I hail from the North. I can survive far better in snow and ice.

(Despite her warm appearance, Sansa is a child of the North.)

Thank you. I don't know how anyone stands this intensity.

(Of course the opposite end of this is just as draining, yet she doesn't mind it in the least (with the proper preparations).)

Keep yourself hydrated, but don't drink too much. You'll lose all the good stuff in your body through sweat, and uh, y'know. [Awkward pause.] Other places.

If you're too hot and can't help yourself, electrolytes are handy. They replace all the vitamins and minerals you use up through sweat and activity. [Awkward pause #2] And other stuff.

Can't say I've seen a Gatorade machine around here, but I've got a few gels if you need 'em. Blue raspberry flavor!
