Hello- everyone. Whatever we are.

My name is Doctor Bruce Banner. I'm- [not that kind of doctor, actually, but not going to overcomplicate this with semantics when the reality is he's perfectly capable.] -collecting medical supplies, and a record of who here knows what amount of first aid.

If any of you have any untreated injuries that you'd like to be seen, please let me know.

And a message, for going forward. One of the serious issues that we're going to have with this place will be dealing with the possibility of infection. Individually tailored cocktails of antibiotics are just not a reality right now. The supply of ointment is low.

That means that when you get cut, you need to take it seriously and you need to treat it immediately. Use soap, and warm water, and scrub your cuts. I know it's painful, if it isn't painful you're doing it wrong, but you need to take a soft clean cloth or a soft-bristled medical brush or sponge, and you need to scrub, with soap, under as steady a stream of hot clean water as you can get your hands on. Especially if there was dirt in the cut, or if you were bitten by some kind of animal. Obviously wash your hands as well before dressing a wound. So, that's the bad news, I guess?

If you're interested in helping, or learning to help at all, I have a building with electricity that I'm trying to clean and disinfect to the point where it will serve as a makeshift clinic until we can all get out of here.

I know a little bit of first aid, but not much. I'd like to learn more, I'm willing to help out wherever I'm needed in exchange.

What if one, say, stabbed someone by mistake but they didn't mean it, there were just a lot of bears but, you know, it's still kind of that person's fault so they should probably try to help them?

Yes, he mentioned you. It's nice to meet you, Adam. I'll be happy to teach you anything I can, no exchange needed at all; once you have the skills and are using them, that'll be a good service in and of itself.

I'd like to meet up, but I don't know how to give landmarks.

That sort of thing actually happens far more often than you think. A doctor's job isn't to point fingers, it's just to get to a solution that gets everyone as safe and healthy as possible.

Is there somewhere I can come to help your friend's friend?

[ oh, good, he doesn't think it was her. ]

Uh, I don't know where he lives. I have kept my distance.

Also, what's first aid? I'm trained in several forms of combat. Should I learn first aid, too?

[Makes sense. It would take the pressure of having to tend to everyone off Bruce, at least, if someone else were at least a little trained.]

Yeah, this place is weird. Is your building near anything big, like one of the temples or the park? I might be able to find you that way. I have a few medical supplies, too - bandages and things.

It's at the edge of the big park closest to the building most of us arrived in.

We should make road signs or something.

[Oh, Arya. Master of subtlety.]

Well, if you see him, or if he sees this, maybe now he'll know that help is out there if he needs it.

First aid is definitely worth learning if you mean to go into combat. It's short for the first aid that is given to someone who has been hurt. You check that they're breathing, and their heart is still beating. You stop them from bleeding. At the very least, you should know how to take good care of yourself in the aftermath.

I hope so. He's rather stupid.

Oh, that sort of thing. I know a little bit about that. I know how to dress a wound and make a few poultices, but mostly what I learned is that it's best to incapacitate your opponent completely and not get hurt. I don't mean to go into combat. I am in combat.

It is always best to plan on not getting hurt, but things don't always go according to plan. If you'd ever like to learn a little more, I'm happy to help.

I think I can probably find it, then, or at least the right area. I guess whatever was here before us didn't need road signs.

Um, I'd like to learn. I want to be useful and ... yeah. I think I might have more luck with that then fighting. I don't really know anything though. Like, other than don't mix booze and pills.

Yeah! [Noah smiles brightly at the mention of Adam's name.] Adam's way better at it than I am, I just want to help so he's not always stuck doing it. Adam, Ronan, and Gansey. They're my friends from home I mentioned.

[ could be useful. she won't say no. ]

Yes, I think I would. Just as long as this isn't a trap. Like, you're not trying to lure me in and sacrifice my very soul or some other ritual in the guise of...first aid.

[ she's gotta check. ]

Sure.

[It'll get his mind off the unpleasant things that have been happening, at least.]

I know Ronan. I don't know Gansey, but I'm sure I'll meet him.

No. And if you'd like to contact either Steve Rogers or Tony Stark, they'll both vouch for my character.

[Bruce nods, disconnects, and heads outside to try to catch sight of him to flag him down.]

[True to his word, Ronan shows up at the clinic the day after all of the hallucinations have vanished. He's carrying a messenger bag slung over his shoulder, and when he pops his head into the building, he's looking a bit worse for the wear than Bruce had seen him previously.

There's a nasty cut across one of his brows, branching into a lovely multicolored bruise on his temple. There's a similar bruise on his opposite jaw, both of which are a few days old at this point. Ronan's hands haven't escaped unscathed either- his knuckles are fat with swelling, and there's haphazard bandages on a few fingers where some of the burns have started to peel. Still, he doesn't really make much of a comment on it- he simply hikes the strap higher on his shoulders and taps on the wall.]

Bruce? You here?

Oh, you're Steve's ally. I know Steve.

Tony...Stark? [ That can't be right. She doesn't remember any Tony from the Stark family tree. ] There's a Stark here?

There is. He's a good man.

Do you know the Stark family?

[ Arya steps back from the screen and looks to the side, wringing her hands. This man knows the Starks. And he likes the Starks, so he must be a northman. Has she found her family, her people, at last?

Would they even want her back?

Her voice is small, hesitant -- very different from the brash young tomboy from before. ]

Can you keep a secret?

Yes, but the device we're talking on right now, other people can probably see, so if you'd like it to be kept quiet we should talk in person.
