I didn't say that humans are incapable of being rational. Again, I will repeat, though I find it incredibly tiresome to do so - what I said is that the foundational statement that humans are fundamentally rational is incorrect. I fail to see how you can interpret that as a blanket excuse for so-called bad behavior. Well, aside from the obvious reason.
